rigs how do you keep up with the news that we just learned block block X is moving to Auto lyos how do we learn that you know we found out maybe that pin is moving to uh K1 pool announc as pan is moving to a new proof of work algorithm in 12 days from now and then Carl in the next 13 days how do you keep up with all the different Asic Miners and all the new miners that are coming out these days and the price gouging from all these companies like gold shell perhaps and like you know keeping up with the new prices keeping up with the new coin announcements maybe on bitcoin talk maybe you know you're just how do you how does one person have the you know the mental capacity to to to keep up with with all this stuff there's there's a lot happening there there is a lot happening and I think I've I've been the one that I've been keeping up with as6 pretty well I think but when it comes to like GPU minable new proof of work coins that are out in the like just everyone always like go to minable Stats new coins or you go Bitcoin talk and people are reading through all the all the different posts here when I look at this my head just I'm just like no like what is this raven cash comes out X is where I find uh you know I'm I'm I'm following pools I'm following top people that you know have you know skin in the game and when something new comes out or some drama comes out with some coin this is where I normally get a lot of this news and then I I I Port this over and report it on YouTube here as all of you guys know another thing okay a lot with that I think majority of crypto miners um you know just referring to you know just the mental capacity aspect is how does one have the capacity to also have Financial stress relief from just looking at the prices of crypto or one maybe doesn't look at this you know the stress of especially these days I find you know a lot of people who have gotten out of crypto mining have left and sold all their Hardware no one's you know a lot of them had to liquidate because you know economics lost their job all that kind of stuff interest rates going up they can't pay their bills etc etc so that's a whole other strain along that comes with crypto mining so whether uh that some people alleviate that by having an emergency fund having a good job have low electrical rate for crypto mining you know all these types of factors I find there you know I've met all types I've met and talked with all types of people that are in crypto mining there's people that are millionaires already and there's people who are just getting started and they live paycheck to paycheck you know you got different types of stages I think stages of people in crypto mining whether they are crypto mining or Asic mining or you know GPU mining keeping up with all the different coins you know like you know it's it's it's all a it's huge right crypto mining the crypto mining ecosystem is huge it's there's a lot that goes on in this space and for one person to really keep up with all the news that's been going around the space um it's it's a lot right it's it's a I got I got 10 I got 10 plus boxes sitting in my basement right now unopened of Hardware that I haven't I haven't done videos on yet because it's just I've been I've just been I've been too busy like upkeeping my own Farm trying to upkeep my own Farm trying to upkeep the news got to make sure you have an Exit Plan that's yeah that that actually goes in line with um you know when it's time you know when the Bull Run comes about that that's that's very important yes very really succeed in Asic mining or GPU mining is going to be you got to find ways to have your lower your expense is your your electrical rate right lowering your electrical rate is like is like the most important thing and it's a sad it's a sad reality it's a sad fact regarding crypto mining is that the electrical rate is going to be your biggest like hindrance for for most people because you're spending a lot right you're spending more on your electricity and what you're mining so you know either you're going to have multiple jobs to pay for that and huddle the electric huddle the yields that you're mining pay the electrical bill out of pocket and you're just waiting for the good times right we were just waiting for the bull run like that's that's like the ultimate you know crypto mining strategy and you know um Jo MC Miner started as a hobby and now this hobby consumes too much time I I agree I I wholeheartedly agree I I wholeheartedly agree um uh let's see white pod red pen of mining are you selling BTC to cover expenses or are you holding BTC and covering expenses out of pocket some months I need to some months I don't it just depends how much I make on my full-time job create a solar infrastructure to provide for my own power have you considered producing your own power with a diesel generator that can burn reclaimed cooking oil can collect waste from fast food chains and for free and filter it for fuel white pod KN prod a white knight prod I've heard people that do that but those diesel generators are are not cheap man dude diesel generators are not cheap yeah leum is $2 yeah who yeah look at bitm is pumping up a leum here mhm mhm um let's see uh let's see here more pollution Douglas hean says what separates miners now are the ones that went off for Cas Miner early and the ones that didn't that that that's it's it's a 50/50 chance yeah those of those of us that never got Casa A6 are definitely eating r you know it either you're going to take that risk or not you know when people especially with Asic mining you know this is such a risky game and you guys you guys you guys know you guys very well know that in the past there are many different projects and and you know timing is everything timing is really everything when you're when you're purchasing an Asic and you know depending on what time we are in the market um it can do very well or it can not do very well and not make your money back it there's many times when that's happened with a lot of these minors there's many times that that that's happened and there's been many times where a lot of these as6 have paid for themselves right it that you got in early or you know you you know got into Caspa even with Asic mining or yeah you know early on even Midway like January you bought like the big boy ks3 M's they've would have paid themselves off by June um now though is is kind of a different story which I'm keeping track of okay I'll show you my my my $30,000 August 1st Three ks3 L's two ks5 uh ks5 L's and ks5 two ks5 M's combined has has mined since August 1st about 27,000 Caspa so are we at the $30,000 Break Even yet nope we're at 43 $0000 here but the name of the game is we are mining and holding all this Caspa for future price appreciation that is the crypto mining strategy I have always been doing so I will keep you guys updated about this in the future we'll see we shall see if we will get it back we shall see it's it's not looking very good at this point but uh if we all believe in Bitcoin B run than than in theory right then in theory it should be BTC yeah 100% solar solar is not I mean if you can do solar yourself like if you can build it yourself and you don't have someone else doing it I I mean you can save a lot of money um you know doing solar doing solar yourself um but you know I found uh you know I found like I said there's lots of people who are in different situations right around the world there's people who can who can you know find the opportunity of getting lower electrical rate having a good electrical rate and scaling their mining farm and be able to make profit or make money that way right but then you got this you got the home crypto Miner the smaller crypto miners that you know maybe are getting into solar and you know they have a they have a bit of a smaller setup um they're not necessarily going to make a lot of money but they're in a way are getting they're mining their crypto for free in a sense um but up up upfront costs all that kind of stuff are you going to make a lot of money doing that as a home as a solar M I mean not not really so it really depends really it really depends you know when when I was in 2017 okay this is different it's obviously history when I was mining with like 12 GTX 1060s mining ethereum for like 4 years that rig itself mined like almost 40 ethereum so same idea you know today you know the amount of Chlor that I'm mining on a couple rigs you know the amount of zealous I'm mining on my gpus Ergo on a couple Rigs and a bunch of other coins I'm spec mining for yeah this one's just not mining Ergo anymore um you know all these coins that we're spec Mining and holding are they going to do well just like what you know maybe what ethereum did back in uh 2021 so we're going to see right that that's the name of the game Mining and holding for longterm waiting for a price appreciation so um if you have extra land you can use for next to nothing and just add more crazy cheap then yeah yeah I I know that you can I think solar panels are getting pretty are getting cheap now if you can do it yourself if you're a do DIY uh and you can build it yourself you can save so much more money you can you can save you can save so much more money um it just depends how much like Hardware you have my like I'm using across my two Farms I think I'm using like with all my as6 as well I'm using well over um 60,70 th000 watts can I build a solar farm to alleviate my electrical bill of 70,000 Watts 70 kwatt per hour can someone can some how many solar panels do I need for 70,000 watts can somebody do the math how many how many batteries do I need for that how many inverters you know all that how how much how much would that cost me how much would that cost me to build like 70,000 Watts worth of solar how much would that cost me like I just want to get like a guesstimate someone guesstimate a number for me I don't know how much that would cost cuz I I've never done solar before how much would that cost me somebody just give me a number so someone give me a number I just want to know like I'm using if I'm using 70,000 watts how much do I need to pay for solar how much what kind of system do I need how much is that going to cost [Music] me BC if you're in the US
