then it reminded me of kadana you guys remember like those like KD Max's uh back in the day uh the KD Max is like $40,000 or I think $50,000 at one point you guys remember that when Caden when CAD went up to its new all-time high and gold shell uh gold shell where were was releasing these things you guys remember those days those are those were fun times and like I think the katd Box sorry the KD the first generation KD box even before that was um let's see I actually have a video about that $6500 April 14th 2022 April 14th 2022 that was that was further down actually that was when yeah alium Al uh kadana mining was just on the tail end April 2022 just just on the tail end and it started going down all right so this is where um also I think the big boy uh when when when did the bitmain ka3 come out the bitmain ka3 I believe was released in here let's see here ka3 September 2022 I know that I know it was announced like a couple like a half a year earlier K3 so that was so September September right this that's when it came out kadana was already Kad kad's price in September was only was already at $146 and I remember I I I clearly remember during those times that the the network hash rate for uh for Caden during these times was also was also just you know it was announced and then everyone was getting them in January okay the k3s the k3s the people were starting to get these during this time and then the hash rate for Kad just obviously started going up and up and up and up up as people started getting those k3s so crazy because bitm came out the gate with their big boy with their big boy minor uh for Cadena no actually no they did not come out of the gate it was gold Shell First in the in the in the actually IB link I hate bringing this up I I really do but you guys remember you guys remember my I my uh Cadena uh millionaire story uh the I link bmk1 I was the first one to get one of these things and that was when kadana was uh that was when kadana was like way down here like a year prior a year year and a half prior where it was like 50 cents or something 33 cents and so similar idea to that is that sure first batch kadana miners when kadana was that low as6 as6 were already coming out for kadana way before the price appreciation happened uh for kadana so there already there were already as6 um for uh for CAD um were they efficient I mean yeah at the time like you know it was great it was great mining Caden because uh the if we go back here okay the hash rate for kadana was like you know it was gpus CPUs when they were beginning and then fpga started coming out um and then uh and then the IB links came out over here right I was the one I got the first IB link I think it was December 2022 that's when I got the first IB link uh bmk1 Plus or whatever and now uh since then in February 2023 that's when Cadena started going up with uh gold shell A6 you all know IB links all that kind of stuff and then died down tapered off and then and then the bit main announcement came about but here we are we got alium here okay so when I showed you that those k3s came out during these times during already like the bit main one came out during already past its price appreciation like the ka3 came out uh September 2022 right so here we are now in the next month with alium we got the big dog bit M okay coming out with their big alifia minor right the 16 ter hash or oh wait they got the okay they got the standard the al1 and then the al1 pro I don't know why they why didn't they just keep the same name al1 and then just do like different uh different hash rate models kind of weird it's not even that big of a not that big not that not that much different actually really the same efficiency al1 Pro al1 like I don't see any I don't see much different I don't see much difference other than and just another Terra has more and like 200 Watts more with the same efficiency so interesting why they call that al1 Pro I don't know I don't know but now we got ice River damn it BC I can damn it BC you're connected to my sheet now we got the AL Zero ice River has come out out of the gate good pricing um it seems like they've always been they've always been like on the side of uh I'm not going to say on the side of the consumer but they've generally been much better pricing than anyone else so that's why like the dollar per gig dollar per gigahash for lithium has been um pretty good and then we got gold shell with their terrible pricing and I mean you all know that the the AL box the first the first Asic for alium came out 4 months ago it was the AL box four months ago okay 4 months ago so that was in April April May June July AUST yeah April that's when I received that first Al box and that was over here okay and uh second week of April that's when the hash rate um also there was an entity that was mining alium as well during these times um it did it did pop prop up here but then a lot of those Al boxes were also being sold I think the first price was like 15K $12,000 and then lo and behold to four three or four months later gold shell pretty much doing is pretty much doing another Caden thank you retro Mike for the $5 thanks for the POS thing retro mic he don't don't don't throw me off here gold shell doing their predatory price things here similar exact same thing that they did with Caden okay exact same situation all right that happened with Caden because obviously the price depreciated and everyone who kept buying the ASX down as the price kept going down their profit their profits went out and then when the k3s came came out and I do remember this when the k3s came out in full force the the the gold shells all the other all the other kadana as6 were rendered useless were R were rendered unprofitable at a decent kilow hour rate so yeah so all the gold shells were just wiped off the face of the Earth for Caden now this is where see the similar because of how much hash weight there was difficulty all that kind of stuff4 super you can see um all the positive things you do for the crypto mining space thank you retro mik thank you again gold shell equals nice heater for winter Lars Hagen you're not wrong you're not wrong the the gold shells are nice for heaters yes yes but in terms of strictly like profitability and like all that kind of stuff it's it's bad right it's bad so the jump from like the gold shell kadana boxes was like you know 74 to 90 uh watt per hash right and then as he went down IB links came out and then bitm comes out with their 19 wat per hash which is four times more efficient than the other kadana boxes so that's why these that's pretty much why all these um all these other models were rendered useless bricks and bitmain obviously you know they manufactured I think we we calculated like like 4,000 of these k3s wait if we can actually do this calculation right now which we can do the similar calculation with the lithium so 99 petahash I'm assuming a lot of these were gold shells that have turned off till now I don't think anyone with k3s has turned off their k3s I don't know anyone that has turned off their k3s so let's just say 694 petahash so from 462 to 6 700 so that's like a good what 350 petahash that's just 350 petahash so uh each of these Ka k3s does what 166 terahash so 166 terahash all right so if I said 350 petahash What's 350 divided by uh 350 petahash divided by 0 166 of a single ka3 Okay so that means there's roughly I did I say 4,000 okay maybe about 2,000 of these k3s are online only realistically maybe 1,500 to 2,000 of these k3s are actually are actually online since uh their release in 2020 uh they were announced sorry I think they were announced September announced September released people were getting them this December January and that's when the hash rate started to just really climb really climb wait sorry this is 2020 wait I'm I looked at the wrong hold on I looked at the wrong area hold on December sorry December 2022 September 2022 was when it was announced oh my God am I looking at this chart wrong hold on hold on hold on hold hold on I looked at this wrong I looked at this all wrong sep member 20202 2022 yes yeah I looked at this I looked at that at the wrong area so it's even more yeah no I was right 4,000 because there was a massive hash rate jump here and then there was another batch of k3s that came out okay I sorry I totally missed okay I remember there was another huge batch of k3s that were manufactured for December 2023 okay it was 2022 September 2022 they were announced and then people were getting them February 5th yes yes yes yes yes there we go there there there we go there we go but anyways I think it still stands from 200 petahash to 500 yeah that's still that would be that would be about 1,500 to 2,000 k3s if I divide that by three I did 300 divid by 66 of a petahash that's about yeah5 to 1,800 of these k3s in the first batch their first batch 1,800 of, 1500 of these let's say realistically including gold shell so500 k3s okay 1500 k3s then the next batch of bitman came out and this looks like it was like 2,000 I think two so I think in total I was right in total there's like 4,000 of these uh ka3 is out on the network right now yeah just that's just I don't know maybe 3 maybe 3,000 I don't know because there's a bunch of other maybe some people have lower electric anyway so correlating that with alium here okay uh so the jump from the gold shell to the bit main a1s is about a 2X it's not really that so it's not like a 4X compared to Gold shell previous Caden to ka3 which is a 4X efficiency uh at leum aium is about a 2X efficiency gain so not too bad but really depends how many of these how many how many is bitm going to manufacture it really really comes down really comes down to how many is bitm going to manufacture all right this is this is where this is the this is the the nail in the coffin here for everyone that going to hash rate.
And man I saw I I saw I'm not going to call I don't want to call out anyone I don't want to call out anyone there was a video and didn't even go through didn't even say like didn't even do the math of like you know 500 or a th000 units he said something like 50 units I'm like are you who bitm would not manufacture just 50 units are you stupid are you kidding me and the the amount of I I just I point in time if you were first batch KS you know uh the first batch miners in the very beginning it it was a good investment um but you know buying the coin at this point in time where where we are with all of these castle miners the castle Network cash rate um all that stuff I I I I truly believe that I think buying the coin is is going to be a better investment now if you believe in uh kaspa's price uh you believe that Caspa will price appreciate in the future uh that's that's just that's it that's the name of the game that's it that that's it that's it unless I mean if you got really low electrical cost and generally low I mean I think you're not going to go wrong either way if you're running it as a business as well if you're running if you're buying miners cast like castle miners amount I could buy we bring up another calculator so three this thing could mine 303 alium a day if you had it now obviously nobody has it now so I'm going to cut that in like let's cut this let's divide this by seven times so by the time you get this and turn it on when everyone else turns on there you know bit main manufactures a thousand of these um your yield is going to be 43 okay 43 alium a day so let's times that by 30 days that's 1,298 alium in 1 month let's times that by I don't know 12 granted that the hash rate is probably going to climb and difficulty is going to keep climbing so you're you're probably going to get less and less as you go on but let's just say in the in the span of a year you're you're not even you're you're not even going to mine the same amount of alium as if you were to buy alium right now if you spent 35,000 freaking dollars on an al1 right now you could buy 21,000 alium instead rather than mining uh and buying uh mining with an al1 and this is going to go this is going to go down H throughout the year because again the network hash rate difficulty is rising so I'm going to guess this is going to be more so like maybe in a year you're going to there's a lot of exchanges that are unregulated that are obviously in China or Hong Kong whatever and a lot of these can accept money from bitm I'm assuming I no it's a fact a lot of these a lot of these exchanges are probably are in with bitm all right bitm is in all right they're in they're spending they're they're they're forwarding millions of dollars to do Market making and I'm not saying that's happening with a leum but I mean it's it's coinciding it's correlating quite quite well here I I I I don't know it it it's it's looking pretty it's looking pretty correlated in that regard I I
