he [Music] sh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] hey guys red pen mining here hope you're doing well having a really great day this video I am going to move over all of my ethereum like ethereum classic miners to mining OCTA space I am wanting to move over to octop space now because it seems like octop space SP is a little bit better in terms of profit versus mining ethereum classic or other forks and actually my main reason why is to accumulate more OCTA space and another big reason is tangum wallet supports OCTA space so that's another reason why I want to accumulate here onto my tangum cards which I have my own branded red penda mining tangum cards if you guys are interested link down below these are really the best new Cold Storage wallet I really love because you don't need to use any cables you don't have to worry about a battery there's no screen I mean you're using the phone as the interface but all the seed phrases seed keys are within these cards and you also have backup cards uh two other backup cards as well if you buy a set so use code RPM for 10% off if you guys are interested in an RPM branded tangum card so my whole goal for this video is to set all of these little IP poo mini miners up I've had them sitting for quite a while as I have really neglected these things and they've just been sitting and doing nothing so I am going to just set them up to mine some OCTA space and I'm also going to show you guys my E9 which was mining ethereum classic but I'm going to show you guys that it's now able to mine OCTA space on K1 pool okay so I'll show you guys that in a second in the computer but yeah I have a lot of these little mini miners actually two of them are dead because they went on fire in my kitchen I again I feel like every time I'm mining in my kitchen these things seems to die like these small little miners I don't know if it was some voltage regulation issue like 120 volt power like both of them died these are both IP poo V1 mini Classic Plus Wi-Fi they were going through a HP server PSU 750 watt and they both went up in Flames I saw Flames inside I wish I had it recorded uh when they died during like I think it was around like January like the cold winter times and there was like a little fire going inside and the really bad cancer smoke smell so these two are out of commission but I still have four here I have an IP poo V1 mini eth uh V1 mini classic another uh se+ and another plus Wi-Fi and I actually have another gold one on my A6 shelf and then the E9 so those are what I'm going to connect today for more update all these I poos and see if we can mine OCTA space on all of these so I have a question to ask all of you do you guys have these mini miners do any of you that are mining with eash or Etc has A6 are you guys moving to octop space as well or you've already been mining octop space for a long time uh did you already believe in octop space that would you know it's been having a bit of price appreciation recently let me know down below all right I'll see you guys in the computer so I've normally been mining ethereum classic for the longest time on most of my Asic miners you know ethereum or Etc hash Asic miners ethereum is no longer minable but ethereum classic is minable Right proof of work I have E9 Pros E9 and all these little I poos uh that were essentially mining ethereum classic and also like jazz miners as well but now okay here we are with OCTA space it was always another option to mine uh it wasn't actually always an option with the E9 or E9 Pros but now that the D size is I believe over 2 GB the E9 is now able to octop space and I can show you guys right here it's connected it's getting accepted shares it shows up on the pool here on K1 pool Let me refresh and it of course makes me a liar no there we go E9 2.33 gash right this is a 2.4 gash Asic minor it seems to be able to mine uh OCTA space just fine okay so that looks to be all good but looking at octop space in terms of it's had a recent price appreciation actually it looks like over the past I don't know year to date it's had a 863 increase in terms of its price so that's pretty bullish looking at octop space's chart here so why not you know if we are on the brink of the bull run or what not if bitcoin's going to go much higher IF altcoin Season's going to come maybe octop space could have further price appreciation who knows so I'm going to mine some of this and we're going to move over a lot of my I poo V1 mini classic miners which I actually have one of them here uh the V1 mini WiFi uh this one is mining successfully uh to K1 pool the 300 megahash version and yeah it seems to be doing just fine to oa.
K1p pool.com okay and if I go to minor configuration just to show you guys how I have it connected here so on these little mini Wi-Fi models for anyone that has these uh when you go to minor configuration okay you have to go eash and uh you put in the pool which you can find on K1 pool or any other pool that has the ability to use these uh I did K1 pool because they have support and also zil support dual mining essentially so octop space and zil at the same time why not right so yeah it's been going looks like it's working just just fine and then of course the worker name is going to be your uh the dashboard uh your wallet you have to make an account on K1 pool it's not Anonymous mining so do need a uh address here you're going to copy that and paste it into worker and then you do a period and then any worker name that you like and then password any password you like and then you hit save and apply and it will work uh so in order for me to get all of this working okay so now I get into the part where where before I was not able to get this to mine to octop space is because of I needed a firmware update all right so I had to go to io.com it's very easy go to forare download and I went to the V series cuz that's uh mainly all these little models are all about but you can see here um there is a lot of different firmwares here but you just want to go for the top one here the V1 132154 so that is the version that I have here it corresponds with this one on the V1 mini Wi-Fi and yeah it's able to now mine so other version I think other version I had before was like 110 133 I was really really far behind like I said I just I really neglected these IPOs and I never firmware updated these at all so now it's updated and uh it seems to be working uh just fine so how to do that now okay well just let me show you guys an example so I have all these other uh the other four mini Wi-Fi that I just turned on I'm just going to log into all these and we're just going to Firmware update all of them before or I change them to OCTA space so I have the V1 mini Wi-Fi here we're going to go to Firmware upgrade we're going to go to flash image we're going to browse to the downloads folder which is going to be this one right here I already downloaded it going to hit upload it's verifying the image uh keep settings and retain current configuration sure I'm going to change that anyway and it's going to update okay so now I'm going to do that to also the V1 mini SC firmware update flash image browse go to the the downloaded V1 software uh firmware upload okay verifying keep setting sure continue all right I'm going to do that to the next one here this is a V1 mini classic Wi-Fi plus we're going to update that as well Flash the firmware same file upload and uh it's going to keep settings continue and we got one more this is a uh actually no I'm not going to change this one because I I am going to keep this one mining ethereum Classic this is the 140 megahash uh 140 mahash model that cost $700 back I don't know a year and a half two years ago now I'm keeping track of all the ethereum Classic this thing is mined I don't think we have hit the ROI or break even yet of $700 so when we do that I will get keep you guys updated I'm not quite sure how much ethereum classic we've M th far maybe I'll put it on the screen here and yeah we'll gauge if you know ethereum classic will have its Heyday of when it goes to over $100 per coin and then that's when we could you know hit that break even uh point on these but okay so I'm not going to update this this uh this first generation one here going to keep that as is okay now all the other ones here they're going to probably take it says take a few minutes to update so we're just going to let this go and I'll come back and uh get them mining so be right back okay I've run into some interesting stuff now I don't know if I'm hacking the system or not so okay first update though okay the E mini Wi-Fi the gold one the one that was broken before like half a year ago doesn't seem to Hash I think it's actually broken still uh firware update did not fix it okay so that's update one now I have an i Polo mini SE all right so this one has the ability to switch between ethash and Etc hash so this one is mining octop space uh no problem okay now I have the V1 mini classic Wi-Fi uh Classic Plus Wi-Fi so this one only gives me the ETC has option on the latest firmware and I just realized this is only for mining Etc hash but I did try adding an OCTA space in here and it connected it's it's it looks like it's connected to the K1 pool now I don't know if it's this is the full hash rate or not it does say ethereum classic here but also IP poo Vin plus 01 octop space 66 megahash but if I go to the uh the web goey here it says 299 right this is the uh 280 or 300 megahash version uh Classic Plus Wi-Fi so I yeah like it seems like it is mining to the octop space uh server here I don't know if this is actually working or not I may go message the K1 pool people on on X and ask them if this is actually working or not I mean it looks like it is finding accepted shares is another thing as well so maybe this mini Classic Plus Wi-Fi can be able to mine octop space and uh doesn't need to be eash cuz it's it's on Etc has select coin configuration so I don't know if this is a uh just a a glitch in the system and we've hacked it and I'm curious now if my V1 mini uh classic the 140 mahash one the very first generation uh Etc hash Miner for ethereum classic is able to mine to OCTA space as well maybe I'll do a test on that another day uh but maybe some of you guys want to try it out confirm with me let me know down below but uh it looks like they're all connecting all right judging by uh K1 pool here uh probably not at the high hash rate maybe that's the issue here but I did I did just start and uh yeah we'll see we'll see see how this goes I'll let you guys know all right guys I think
