PC Shop Behind the scenes cheap m.2 drives

[Music] [Music] [Music] so what is up ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Brandon coin YouTube channel as you saw there I just did some sorting so um I got back from the technology recycling company and they got me some more drives unfortunately it's the luck of the draw every time I go it can be different things and unfortunately this time I got a lot of shorties so so what I mean by that are these these are like half size and then these are quarter there is a technical uh number that these are called the length um but in the past I had not been selling them but I got so many out of this batch that I have to to actually break even on this batch of drives now we got 1 terabytes these are 512 or yeah sorry 1 terabytes over here 512s in the middle and then a couple like these are like 256 like two 256 gig drives over there so not optimal but um no no 2 tabes unfortunately that's uh that's that's not not good and then um I saw I had this Feather Drive or sorry fledgling drive and look it's got an adapter with some like I think that's like a PCI Express X One adapter on a a drive so that's kind of cool I guess you could just like slot it into a motherboard it was probably used in some kind of like weird computer setup I don't know why they wouldn't just use a normal m.2 and they would use like a PCI Express Port maybe just to make it work anyway regardless though um yeah so I'm going to get this stuff updated on the website um oh I got some CPUs in yeah let me let me grab those those are actually really cool by the way guys this is behind the scenes of like the computer shop kind of stuff if you like this kind of stuff um let me know down below it's been a while uh because everything's been so crazy with the holidays uh I haven't been bringing a lot of inventory in cuz I haven't even really been home a bunch we did a lot of traveling but now we're home we're settled down and we're here uh time time to buckle down and get back to business um let me grab those C here these bad boys are pretty cool so we got a I9 12900 K if you can see that right there we plop that bad boy right there then we got a i7 12700 KF another really nice chip and just to uh show you what's up we got another I9 12900 K yeah so that's two 12 9900ks and then we our last one from this batch was another I9 12900 K I know so we got three 12900 K absolutely killing it um those are great resale processors cuz they don't have the like issues that the 13th and the 14th genin had where you have to make sure the micro codes updated on the motherboard or it'll eventually kill the processor the 12900 K never had that issue so those are going to sell like hot cakes they're probably not even going to hit the web store I'm just going to message a couple of the uh the guys that were looking for high-end CPUs by the way if you're looking for anything like specific um message me I get in a lot of Intel CPUs cuz this recycling company does a lot of uh government stuff and oddly enough a lot of these government machines don't have ryzen's in them there are a lot of intels and then most of them don't have um a graphics card so that's unfortunate because I want graphics cards but regardless it is what it is and sometimes that's just how the cookie crumbles now um I had some drives that they did not have the the size on them so I don't know how big they are um so I'll be I'll test those and plop those back in there uh I did end up getting a bad batch a while back of drives which is odd because uh part of the Arrangement that I have is they wipe the drives and then they test the drives and then I buy them and then they sort out the bad ones well I guess somebody didn't do their job one day I made sure and I let them know that hey I got a bunch of bad drives in and I had to take some returns I say a bunch it was maybe like 10 total out of you know a couple hundred uh good ones so not bad but it was it was unus it was an usual amount compared to what I normally take back which is maybe one um but I am going to test do a spot check and test a couple of these but uh they assured me that this time around all of them are wiped all of them are tested uh they're good to go you're not going to have any uh any issues out of them so yeah as for pricing I don't know what the pricing is going to be because some of these are not in vme Drive some of these are SATA um like the uh I guess that's what's that is that SATA yeah it's just SATA SATA ssds instead of nvmes so those are going to be priced accordingly as well less cheaper they're slower not as valuable um so yeah I just kind of wanted to make this video get back into the swing of things showing you guys behind the scenes um what we got coming in the shop that kind of thing uh I had a bunch of 1660s but it looks like the most of those have already um been ordered up so I got to get those all packed up and and uh get those moving but other than that it's time to get our hands on some 50 Series stuff right well actually now it'll be 40 series stuff be sold off so that's what we'll get our hands on anyway thanks for watching guys I'm going to go ahead get all this packed up into the little containers that I
