what is up ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the Brandon coin YouTube channel I hope everybody's having a great day for reference it is November 11th 20124 cuz this information could change basically at any time so um I wanted to address the nature of Bitcoin mining on small scale we've talked about it in in the past with Lottery mining that's where you have these small miners like these bid axes or Avalon Nanos metal miners stuff like that um and you basically set this up to mine Bitcoin in a Solo fashion so you're mining by yourself you're not mining with a group of other people um so you have a very small chance at actually solving a Bitcoin block and processing the transaction basically almost zero but if you did hit it and you did actually mine that block you would get paid out a little over three Bitcoin which with the price of Bitcoin almost at $80,000 you can see how that's very very attractive and uh it definitely you know tingles The Gambler bug inside of me so I Do Love solo Miners and Lottery miners but people are just telling me hey with the price of Bitcoin going so high up um these little small miners can actually make money now so I figured I'll turn this around we'll pull up a uh Bitcoin mining profitability calculator and go over some of the more common devices and what they make what they don't make what they cost stuff like that uh because a lot of people might be getting I don't want to say bad information but they might be getting um skewed information cuz people are running out and saying oh you need to throw your bti axes on a pool and depending on which bti Axe you have whether it's the Supra or the Gamma or the hex uh or even the ultra um there are huge differences in what you could make or not make and in my opinion I don't want to make a penny a day to throw away my opportunity at eventually May maybe I don't want to say eventually but maybe possibly hitting a Bitcoin block which would be worth significantly more so let's flip it around and let's go over it all right let's start off from the top so 6 terahash which uh would be about 600 gigahash that's what a uh bit AE Supra does really common bit a right now um and they're in the last 24 hours with Bitcoin being through the roof uh making 3 cents a day so you could potentially make 3 cents a day or 19 almost 20 cents a week on that bit a Supra I don't have power consumption uh in for any of these because everything will vary depending on where you're at what your electric rate is all those kinds of things now the bit ax gamma is 1.2 terahash and if we hit calculate on that uh the gamma would be making 6 cents a day or almost 40 cents a week so obviously getting better but still not great um the let's see here the Avalon Nanos which are you know said to be kind of the king those are supposed to do four terahash I'm going to be honest I've had a lot of issues out of mine I have four of them one of them's dead two of them only like to run on medium and one of them runs on high so if you have one of the golden unicorns that runs on high gives you no problems and actually gives you four ter hash on pool side cuz I'll show you later on my Avalon Nano that says 4 Tash never gets 4 Tash on pool side I don't know why but if you have one of those 4 Tash would be doing uh right at 20 cents a day or uh a130 a week so you can see that like obviously that is adding up um if you have one of the metal miners those are a little bit less hash rate uh but I've had less issues out of them so only the you know time will tell on those so those are about 17 almost 18 cents a day and A1 14 a week um obviously not great numbers for any of these in my opinion I'm going to let mine run on the lottery uh method and make nothing unless I hit a block will I hit a block probably not but if I do I'll definitely let you guys know CU it will be wild and now last but not least the Mars Lander 250 gigahash so 0.25 terahash you're making um 1.2 pennies a day and that comes out to 8 cents a week so let me go and show you guys my lottery miners I got those bad boys plugged in um what they're doing what they're not doing that kind of thing um so yeah I guess we can start off with this one first hold on so this is the bid a 601 this is the gamma so it's supposed to do 1.2 ter hash you can actually pump them up to 1.4 ter has mine has the dreaded um instant overheat issue so some of some of these some of these are shipping and whenever you plug them in they have the instant overheat issue and then it down clocks itself to a ridiculously low clock speed um I got this one from uh uh U sorry um my D on my mind escapes me I got this one from Bitcoin merch so I reached out to them should I take the cooler off should I try to you know replace thermal paste cuz that's what other people have said over on uh the open source mining Discord which is awesome some Discord um lots of like bid act support and stuff like that and um they reach back out to me and they're like here no here's a return label send it back to us we'll send you another brand new one it shouldn't have any issues I guess there was some issues on the first run of these so mine is currently down um we got some metal miners right here these are the version um yeah 1.5s so uh the 1.4s only a few people got sent 1.4s most everybody got sent 1.
fives let me go over here and show you so there's mine right there actually I sent my 1.4 back to uh metal miners um and they swapped me out for a 1.5 so I'm on the newest version um mine's doing about 3.2 to 3.3 ter so a little bit less than that 3.5 but I've been really happy with it and it puts off I'd say a decent amount of heat um as for here we go here are some of my other solo miners so this is a bit a Supra these are the ones that do about 600 gash I was talking about um and then there there's the Mars Lander down in there so it's doing 270 gash they're rated at 250 so she's overperforming a little bit um I want to move this one inside probably into my closet because I'm I I think I'm going to I'm just waiting for it to get colder outside cuz um I really don't need any extra heat inside but uh I think I'm going to daisy chain on well not daisy chain but I'm going to plug a couple different units into this server power supply one of them being this mini Doge right here this is the mini Doge that Vos coin sent me like years ago I'm never getting rid of this thing shout out vcoin I mean literally if I didn't watch his videos I never would have got into mining so I got to give respect where respects do um but yeah so I'm going to plug that guy in um probably run a couple different smaller wattage units um off of that server power supply inside this is not a solo minor I guess you could this is a Litecoin a script Miner whole another topic there let's go inside let me show you my Avalon so coming in here into the bathroom um my wife was like what what is this what is this and I'm like it's it's a heater um so I have one of the Nanos in here let me see on I got to stand up on top of the toilet so we can see what the hash rate on this one is okay so this is my four ter hash unit puts off a good amount of of actual like heat um yeah power spot is not even warm but it does put off a good amount of heat and the fans are kind of getting noisy on this one I don't know if you guys can hear that but I took the the grill off the back and then the front Grill just to try to make it run as cool as possible so yeah got one of those in here now let's go on to the next one all right so the next one is actually on my nightstand and this is not attached but it fits really well that's my alarm clock um this is the one that will not run on High um I've tried different power supplies and stuff it only runs on low or medium I actually have it turned down to low right now because this is my bed right here um so it just blows straight this way it's going to be great in the winter time but lately North Carolina keeps bouncing back and forth on uh whether it wants to be hot or cold so for right now um not the best situation to be blowing heat straight into my face but yeah so that's one of the other ones let me grab and show you where the last one is so the last one is in my bathroom the other bathroom was the kids' bathroom um and this is I believe this is the one that runs on me M all the time yeah so 3.15 Tash on this one um if I turn this one up to hot it connects and disconnects leading me to believe that it's overheating um and like automatically cutting off due to I don't know some kind of thermal design um but for right now I'm just letting it run on medium just putting a little bit of extra heat out into the bathroom as it gets colder I cannot wait because then I can start adding more uh more miners inside so that's all I have for solo miners let me flip it around so that's all I have for solo miners I really wanted it would be paying me because like rough napkin math if you averaged them out and metal M 15 30 45 I mean they wouldn't even be making a dollar a day all together so I don't know um know it just doesn't seem worth it for me to give up that that minuscule chance of hitting a block you know what I'm saying cuz I tell you what boys we hit a Bitcoin block we're having a party oh yeah all right shaved because uh I got tired of it's kind of hard to talk about a little bit uh anyway I got tired of my weight um I've been putting on a lot of weight over the years um and I decided you know what it's time to I'm going to shave it off because it kind of hides like my second and my triple chin and all that kind of stuff whenever it gets wild um but I shave that way I can see my prog ress because I've started like actually formally working out I previously never worked out in my life um I'm coming I'm getting a phone call so this we'll have to wait sorry about that that was actually the wife she was calling to uh to check up but anyway uh I don't know if you guys have kept up with like my life and that kind of thing because I always you know do these little fill in videos randomly at the end of a regular video uh and for people that don't care like you don't have to stick around it it's all good um this is me just like kind of talking to uh a lot of my friends because I I do consider almost all of you guys actually like genuinely friends um but yeah I'm pretty unhappy with my weight I was getting up there I was actually like high 250s at one point and at my height I'm like I say 6t but I'm realistically like 5' 11 um 11 and 1/2 on a good day uh and it was just it was too much weight you know I I didn't didn't like carrying it didn't like how my clothes were are fitting didn't want to I really didn't want to go out and buy all new clothes um so that was driving me crazy and um within the last year I've transitioned from I used to work outside I used to be in construction um and I've transitioned to uh selling computer parts as you guys know shout out bcpc that's my little small you know computer shop where I sell computer parts uh no surprise there no no question there that uh I'm getting a lot less physical um um exercise because normally working outside you know doing stuff get your heart rate up I'm not doing that anymore so I'm watching my kids I'm packing boxes there's there's no like physical activity happening like during the day um anyway you know what I mean regardless uh so yeah I noticed that weight was keep keep going up and uh it's time to do something so shave that off so that way I can see my progress I'm starting to I want to take like I don't know if I want to do daily pictures maybe like weekly pictures uh but I went ahead and got me some like a a stair stepper thing I have a um a little treadmill guy coming in um that way I can just start treading off and incorporating that into my daily routine so I get up you know hit it for 30 minutes an hour try to build myself up uh and lose some weight obviously cut back on some of my my dirty dirty my my dirty desires as soda soda is my big one soda and beer um I I haven't had any any beer in probably like I think it's been like two weeks now uh and I don't think I'm going to I I I feel good um cut beer out uh cut soda back to things that are like zero calorie um or very low calorie So like um I got some Frescas these are zero um I don't normally drink these a lot but I I felt like I needed to pick me up so I got me a white monster like 10 calories I really just wanted some caffeine um I bought some like caffeine gum that did zero but also I may have a high caffeine tolerance cuz I was like a daily either Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew was like my go-to um I don't drink coffee coffee is unfortunately like not it doesn't taste good to me but um yeah so lots of water and um yeah EA eating a little healthier wife's already cooking healthier uh now that I'm not out and about I'm also not buying as much nasty food cuz I used to buy a lot of fast food so like I do feel better already but um yeah I just want to just want to do better you know get better anyway probably got you probably didn't want to know any of that but anyway um regardless having a good one having a good time life is good can't complain bitcoin's above 880,000 um yeah you know I mean I got to be very careful about when when I record videos and when I release them now because crypto is just going nuts you know it's alltime highs every day new new days all that kind of stuff anyway I
