Someone Mined 3 Bitcoin with This Bitaxe Supra

what is up ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the brandoncoin YouTube channel how's everybody doing this is going to be another venture into the world of Asic mining but not exactly what I've been doing typically so I've been looking at a lot of the home miners talking about like you know the your mini does um your KS Zer Ultras I've been drooling over the new alphapex uh home Miner that they haven't released yet they've just pictures of uh but now we're venturing away from what people would typically be using on pool mining setups which you can do solo mining with those to pretty much dedicated solo Miners and these do intrigue me because they have hit blocks before so right here is the bit a Supra uh yeah the bit ax Supra so I got it up on the web page in front of me Bitcoin merch was super kind enough to send this over and um this is one of the things that I I have always grossly overlooked uh I was I've never been the guy that goes and I don't buy the lottery tickets I don't buy the scratchers I did you know when I first turned 18 and stuff but uh it's not like a regular thing for me um whenever I like think about you know super small odds I'd much rather normally take the PO the pool approach uh give me my little payout I don't want to sit and wait for a solo block to hit but apparently somebody just hit one um was it like a month ago or two months ago on on a bit AE like this exact model um on bitcoin merch they actually have the the title uh the block winner super Supra plus power supply um that's like the kit that they sell together um I will have some links down below so if you are interested you can click on them if not totally understand now you guys have to realize the odds that you could hit a Bitcoin block with this and get paid out I think it's like what 3.12 Bitcoin horrible super low odds basically could never happen but there's a chance and that's that's the situation that has Dove me down the rabbit hole of not only this but there are more that I am going to be exploring and showing you guys so um yeah as for like the actual unit it's got a little LCD display up here it shows fan RPM temperature power usage and then it goes over to your IP address uh um your voltage core lots lots of cool information so uh super cool little unit I have a buddy of mine printing out a 3D enclosure for this because I don't want it just to be hanging out in the open forever but I did want to get this thing plugged in as soon as possible they're super easy to set up literally you just plug it into Power um you connect to it with a wireless device so I connected to it with my phone uh and then you just enter in your pool information and your wallet address and that's it then it goes and starts mining I'm going to flip this camera around and show you um my pool readout and how it's been running I've I've had this for a little over a week now and um I haven't hit my block yet but I don't intend to it's going to be one of those things I I did set it to my coinbase wallet address and I would love to just open coinbase when day and see three Bitcoin in there just staring at me I would lose my mind um I'm sure anybody would it when they call them Lottery miners that's because it's like hitting it's like hitting the lottery if you ever actually win anything with these miners so anyway let me flip it around and show you you guys what the pool is looking like all right so let's see here I am using the public pool I think this is the one that was like preconfigured I just changed my wallet address and you'll see I have two workers on here here is the bit a my average hash rate is 563 gigahash from what I understand you can do some tweaking these are rated at 600 but some people are able to pull much more than 600 gigahash out of them um session best difficulty 178.6 million um Network difficulty is 86 trillion so you have to beat that so yeah we're not not even close uh uptime one week last scene 56 seconds ago so she's she's cooking away she's doing that thing um now going over here this is it on bitcoin merch so it is $159.99 and that includes the power supply this does not take a computer um you don't have to have it plugged in like a USB to a computer like some of the the USB miners from yesterday year you would have to have a host computer um I was I did get kind of big into the what was it the uh the moon Landers for a while but I just never could keep them up and running and then you had to have a host computer kind of just just too much to deal with um so yeah these these seem to be just cooking chugging away um it says it's rated at 14 watts it looks like see if I can get it to focus focus on this looks like mine's doing [Music] about um well we're doing 618 gash temp power mine's at 13.9 Watts so yeah yeah sipping on power they don't they basically burn no power um for example cuz I was talking to somebody and he's like how much would that cost me you know per day oh wow focus camera um so if we had 14 Watts time 24 hours / 1,000 time 13 cents per kilowatt hour it burns about 4 cents a day in electric so if we times that by you know 30 days about a130 a month time 12 looking at about $15 a year for the chance to win a Bitcoin block um am I going to let mine run absolutely I actually have more units on the way not this exact one I kind of want to have like a little collection of them going um and just see what or if I ever hit one on anything so yeah that's uh that's kind of how the cookie crumbles on that one if you have any questions comments concerns please fire it down
