[Music] [Music] he [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah [Music] [Music] a hey guys RPM here hope you're doing well having a really great day this video I have all of the 307s now all in this garage floor here all laid out ready to install this video I'm just going to explain how I'm going to install these and I'll show you guys how I have my GPU rack all set up already along with the power and how I have it all laid out so far going to update you guys on that as well so I'm not going to install these today but I am going to install these in tomorrow's video I'm going to time myself how long it'll take me to essentially you know unbox all the GPR Riser R8 server cases you know I have to install the sides here I got to unpack all the wiring and all that kind of stuff and get the gpus installed put on the rack of course I got a flash ssds so I'm going to time myself the whole day tomorrow and tomorrow's video I'm going to do a ks0 pro giveaway in that video tomorrow specifically to whoever can guess the exact time not exact but whoever guesses the closest time in which I can install all of this Hardware in one day you guys are guess in an hour and minutes okay an hour and a minute so just tomorrow's video stay tuned I'll explain how that all works and yeah so that's going to be a lot of fun for tomorrow's video but all the 307s here that I traded for are here now and thank you to my wife allowed me to park all these 307s in her garage stall here she has not been able to park her car in here for weeks and so hopefully by the end of this week I'll be able to get all this crap out and man I have so much packaging mining King thank you for the packaging good sir and yeah actually just update so these last three boxes were the final uh 24 uh 307s okay and actually over here this line here and those line here I did have one issue okay with one of the boxes that was heavily damaged and also there was damage on one of the 307s here okay actually I think one of the screws uh came out of the io plate here because it was uh obviously damaged from Shipping but otherwise everything else looks to be just fine I think this thing will still work I will find that out tomorrow when I you know obviously install all of these 8 per R8 GP Riser server case and yeah I'll see how it goes my expectations right now is that I'm probably going to have at least maybe a couple of dead 307s I'm not expecting all of them to work but tomorrow's video that will be I guess I will find that out tomorrow and uh when I time myself you know installing all this together and yeah well we'll see how that goes so I'm going to be of course installing them in server cases now some of you guys may be doing some math here so total I have 112 RTX 370s now okay it was supposed to be 108 but I brought over four myself from my other crypto mining basement so I have two Asus tffs and an MSI Ventus 3070 and also this noctua 3070 which actually does fit in the GP risers R8 actually does fit thank you to the mining King for giving me the recommendation for trying that so this is basically an X8 Ultra like deluxe or something um bigger than the X8 Ultra I do have a bunch of those server cases but this one's I think a little bit wider and so it does fit on the very left slot here granted it is touching um the plastic uh shroud here is touching the breakout board a little bit here at the bottom okay but the fan is still able to move and it doesn't seem I don't think it's going to be an issue I guess I'll find out once uh once we turn this on but it fits just perfectly this thing is a monster this will not fit on the next slots otherwise I will block the PCI slots if that if that makes sense but it fits on the very left one I thought I'd update you guys on that and so some of you guys are probably doing the math in your head R Panda you have 112 370s well if I divide that by eight okay which will be eight per you know server case that means I I'd be able to put 14 server cases together so I only have 10 GPU Riser R8s but at my other crypto mining basement I think I do have maybe four five more uh X8 Ultras the smaller version of this so I may be able to bring those over and then I can populate 14 server cases on this rack okay so 10 at the top okay I can do 10 at the top here hopefully and then I'll be able to do four of the X8 Ultras uh on this side here or that side whatever or space them out I have to be mindful right I have to be mindful of how much power I am going to be pulling from these new 240 volt 30 amp circuits that I just in installed so actually you guys can see right now I have one of the R8s installed with the 307s so when I first received those gpus um I did make a 3070 rig already in an R8 and it's working just fine right now it's mining a lithium okay you guys can see right here about 60 70 Watts right now and I want to now talk about my power and networking and how I have that laid out but before I do that I want to just stress that I have another KS Z Pro giveaway okay so I said I'm going to do another one to in tomorrow's video yes I'm going to do that one for tomorrow's video just for tomorrow's video but this video I am announcing throughout I already did the previous videos that there is a video that you have to comment on from Mr oor okay Mr ort Tech he is another prominent crypto mining YouTuber this gentleman right here and so what you have to do is comment on his video which I'll have link down below with anything positive regarding crypto Mining and also which country that you are from so the link is in the description for Mr overboard Tex video and then I'll be able to then choose a winner using common picker for Sunday all right for Sunday's video so get your comments in on his video make sure you subscribe to him as well all right you have to subscribe if not you are going to be disqualified so good luck see you guys on Sunday for this one okay okay yes I do have one of these Fireball things uh I guess I'm going to install this at the top somehow and I do have a smoke detector as well above and yeah so thank you Mr B's crypto mining uh for these Fireballs I also have one on my as6 shelf as well as well thank you for the fire extinguisher a while ago you sent me all that just to update you guys I do have a fire extinguisher okay so going along with how I have my power set up so okay my exhaust fan is not set up yet I'm going to do that offscreen because I need to wire the fan manually to one of these cables I have to put it right into the variable fan speed uh controller here so just to update you guys on that that's a 24in exhaust fan and I also have one exact same one right there as well about almost 4,000 CFM give or take so now as for the power a lot of you guys gave amazing comments on how to install the pdus on my shelf here so I don't have them simply resting on this shelf and a lot of you guys recommended to me to just drill the pdus into the side here and I didn't do that because all right I I'll give you the biggest reason why I didn't drill these yet uh into the uh the black uh just shelf part here okay I'll give you the biggest reason why okay so I have them all like cable tied you can just see they're just resting from these here um on the side here the biggest reason why I did not drill these in is because of the stock power cable that comes with the R8 the GP Riser R8 okay it comes with this four prong all right the uh you know regular computer cable that goes into the power supply and then it adapts into a single uh c19 to C2 20 okay so this cable is not that long right you guys can see it's very it's very short so I am just I have to be cognizant because the other octom miners that I'm going to be putting here uh their cables are also going to have to come down to here I only have three of these C20 ports per uh pdu that's the max that I wanted to do for the 10 you know R8s initially now when I do more of the you know 307s down below they're probably going to be going to C13 c14 so that when that time comes I'll figure that out after the cabling but majority of the ones at the top for all the R8s with this power adapter right because essentially the four cables that are going into one C uh C20 c19 cable right is like this so I have to be mindful for this because I may have to shift these over maybe this way a little bit more because of the length Okay that's why I didn't drill it yet into the side because I may have to move these around later on just because of the lengths right of these R8s the the power cables they may not be enough to hit the back here so that's how I have it laid out let me know what you guys think for the pdus and all the cables just beautifully go this way and up into the meter boxes right so that's how I have it okay so let me know what you guys think about that I it's just it simply goes back to the length here you know I could buy new cables but I don't want to spend any more money you know buying more of these cables so like I said I just have to be mindful of the positioning of these pdus so let me know what you guys think about that okay so now the networking part of the R8s so just I got a typical 6t red ethernet cable cat 6 cable and my TPL link freaking like $120 Canadian on Amazon network switch which on eBay I could probably buy like those HP switches which I'd rather buy for like 50 bucks but I obviously don't have I don't I didn't want to wait because I want to get this installed so I just you know one day shipping on the little TPL link network switch here that I have okay $120 I feel like that's a waste of money but like I said I didn't want to wait for eBay anyways I have the networking installed on this part of the wall okay I didn't have it I couldn't really think of anywhere where I could really plug this into actually you know I probably could have had this you know resting on here um I could have just zap strapped the ears you know to the side here had the network switch over here but as you guys can see I have it going like this instead and the other network cable that you guys see here is going to my ubiquity uh switch okay so it goes here this 6t cable goes up to here and this is going into my network switch which is way down there to another uh to another 24 Port ubiquity switch which brings the vlen uh which I have a dedicated subnet just for this rack so all of the gpus servers here R8s are going to be in its own subnet I can easily you know separate them um from the other network parts of my network especially my as6 or my low power stuff and my you know Wi-Fi can have it totally separated so that no communication will be able to go in or out in between into vlans between my other vlans okay so that will be totally segregated and all that these can do all the hardware that's going to be plugged into that switch into this VLAN is then going to only go out to the internet and and nowhere else it will not be able to communicate with the other devices on other networks okay so just to give you guys that uh disclaimer there how I have this all set up okay so looks like that so yeah very simple all the R8s will just plug into the network switch there all the power is just going into here granted hopefully that's uh going to be a long enough for majority of those you know c19 C20 cable into the for uh computer plug cable so all right that's it that's basically how I have my GPU server rack set up for power and ethernet if you guys have any other recommendations I did read all your comments in the previous video but I felt that with the way I have it set up here I couldn't drill it in as much as I wanted to but I think that's okay let me know what you guys think about this and if I can do maybe something something better you know there's always something I can do better let me know down below oh man it's it's actually cold on this side of the basement about 57 F on this side or uh let's see here it's it's a cold day right now or 14° C so summertime okay I'm I'm I'm probably going to have an issue all right cooling down this whole thing along with my as6 as you all know um there was a time when I had a heat wave and that was like over 120 130 fah or something crazy and it was very hot when that time comes I guess I'll have to deal with it um may have to shut down everything but anyways for now you know we're still kind of winter here where I am it's about negative temperatures outside so anyways guys prepare I am preparing I'm going to be recording myself I guess tomorrow you guys will see this video tomorrow uh but during that day I will be timing myself okay putting in all of these 307s into the server cases okay I guess nine of them we're going to time myself and in that video tomorrow I'll announce it again but you guys just have to comment and guess how many hours and minutes it'll take me to install all of this okay I should be able to do it in a day less than a day obviously uh but I'm going to time myself I'll have a you know a countdown timer and uh look at the time and all that stuff and we'll see how long uh it'll take me and so good luck to you guys tomorrow let me know your guys' thoughts it's just insane to see all of the 307s here on the floor I'm super excited to get this installed and going and Mining that is the biggest thing and also hitting my power rate that I want to achieve around 7.5 cents USD that is going to be awesome I'm excited here let me know your guys' thoughts of everything I just talked about and I'll see you all in tomorrow's video have a good one peace out peace [Music] out H hopefully this one still works I wonder where the screws in the Box
