hello fish how are you today sorry I've neglected you for so long but I'm here now hey guys RPM here hope you're doing well having a really great day all right I'm in the crypto mining Barn today just wanted to do a vlog here kind of a pretty much a filler video I wanted to congratulate the gentleman who won the 24hour hash rate for this rx470 rig it's mining block X right now that's what he wanted and actually it's been mining him for about a week so definitely longer than 24 hours so what I want to do in this video right now is give away another hash rate giveaway of this rx470 8 GB card rig give me your mining pool of choice and uh what algorithm you want to mine with this rig here in the barn which of course for anyone that's missed it I got internet so I finally set up that ubiquity bridge that is communicating about I don't know 100 to 150 ft away from the barn here to my other basement so just a quick update for you guys about this it's been it's been working well but I'm having uh a bit of I guess signal issues so now it says it's running on the backup link which I'm I'm really confused as to why it's doing that now how I have it installed outside it's not quite point to point so I'm thinking that's why because I did install it further into the I guess the barn a bit and on the other side it's kind of further indented inside as well so looks like my signal which I was getting gigabit before right you guys saw in the previous video I was getting like pretty much gigabit speeds but now I'm getting like uh pretty much like 10 100 speeds or 100 uh MVPs speeds now but to be honest it's been still very fast I can still download uh you know hios updates just fine all I'm doing in the barn is just mining anyway so I think 100 MVPs like signal so far which I'm going to fix I mean should theoretically be enough for 10 octom miners once I you know set them all up I have about nine of these pcsp octom Miner x12s with the 478 GB cards in them that I still need to unbox and start setting up just get start mining here in the barn but coming soon I am getting some new gpus and so I may not even be using these for 4708 GB cards that are in these and I'm going to take those out and probably I don't know make a rx470 8 GB wall or something or sell them I don't know I don't know give them away probably we'll see but that'll be for another video so yeah Josh if you're watching this my friend yeah I've been mining to you for I think more than a week now so I hope you enjoy those uh block x uh rewards we've been mining with this rig I know it's not that hosting.org and it's my fault I think I broke it so when you guys remember the video when I installed the internet uh pretty much near the end of the video I did get this thing mining but I didn't have the cover on and it was just burning it was mining kapow and I think I blew a power supply so a power supply is not lighting up I did try taking it out and you know reating it and such but it's it just it doesn't work so I did try to yeah take it out here it's hot swappable and stuff so I can H it's mining right now I I mean I don't want to take it out but yeah I mean I could but also I think I bricked one of the 478 GB cards I think I killed it by uh just I guess the sheer heat when these cards were like 82 85° C they were pretty hot right and so I shouldn't have done that and so I think I killed the PSU and one of the gpus so it shouldn't be a problem right now the rig is pulling about 1367 watts and uh yeah it shows one of the uh 750 wat psus is down so I'm pretty sure I can just replace that PSU later on in the fure future and it should be it should be golden so don't do what I do make sure you run these with the uh cover on but my plan is to fill these with the CMP 210s I'm going to be trading a few gpus that'll be for another video but yeah that's my plan in the future okay I got to try my exhaust fan so I did just replace the batteries but I haven't like turned this on yet so how do we how do we get this thing to turn on yes there we go okay so my 24-in exhaust fan still works but I don't want it on full bore right now how do we uh how do we change it to smaller level yeah there we go okay so it's on low mode right now I don't even think I need to have my exhaust fan on as uh it's already pretty cool in the barn already and winter is coming so you know I may not even I may not even need you know I may not even need uh this exhaust fan because CU yeah Winter's coming so uh let me know down below if you guys are you know you have exhaust fans and you've turned them off because it's been lot cooler temperatures right now I wish I had like a thermometer in here but it's it's not that it's not that hot it's pretty cool in here intake is about 18° C exhaust is 20° C so yeah it's not it's not hot in here at all it's pretty cool so but I'm expecting uh once maybe I put in 10 and I already have like a box wall already like a makeshift hot cold aisle that I'll probably have to turn on that exhaust fan anyway yeah I'm so excited I got internet in the barn now I've actually been thinking of making a uh Studio on this side like another just getting a desk a computer desk and like see if I can maybe stream from here you know through the ubiquity Bridge like see if there's uh much latency but yeah I know it' be cool to do some videos here or just have another setup here where I don't know I can do testing benchmarking and whatnot but just have like another like battle station here like a computer and such which I had an idea for a video I just wanted to talk about if I can convert you know a few of these mining motherboards into like some type of AI uh compute workload rig as uh these motherboards some of them have an X6 slot and if people have uh changed the CPUs to like i7s you know notoriously these older mother mining motherboards are like Intel based right old i7s 6th gen sth gen eighth gen so maybe that might be a fun video to think about I'm going to go on Facebook and see if I can find an old i7 6th gen or sth gen or eighth gen actually I think is for this motherboard here man it's been a long time since I've seen this Zotac motherboard I really do miss like the open air mining frame days just still a graveyard of open air rigs as uh I've I mean you guys know I've converted to octom miners anyways guys yeah just a filler video here I really had nothing else to really talk about but just to update you guys on this rig here and do some hash rate giveaways for this one so yeah comment Down Below guys
