What am I doing at my Computer Shop

all right so customer brought in their computer I've actually worked on this one in the past um the bottom fans are not lighting up for the RGB controller so I was like hey man just go grab some you know RGB Splitters they are Corsair fans go grab those we'll pop them in there and um and split it I I put them in there and they're still not lightting up so I go and look online and apparently Corsair fans don't like to the RGB doesn't it doesn't like to be split I had no idea um so that's lovely um so I need to get a bigger RGB Hub apparently to run all these fanss last Corsair got to be difficult you know why do and why do they sell Splitters if if they don't work so I've tried swooping and swapping them around and I can't get them to work but um yeah in other news uh got a bunch of stuff to pack so let's pack in order all right so we got a hot and ready one this order number is 1315 and it looks like they picked up a 1660 super Asus tough so let's let's grab that that tough card for them um oh man it's deep down in in the in the in the case if I can reach it come on there we go okay so bam got the Asus tough peel the old label off she's looking tough um now what else did they get they got a 370 Zotac Gotta Love old Zotac 370 please tell me I got one here I know I got a couple at the house okay so uh 3070 twin Edge Zotac with the worst plug design ever I hate the how the plugs go down deep into the middle of this card all right and to top it all off they also got a ryzen 3 4300g which is r there and all the pins on this bad boy look pretty good pretty good so I use to ship these cuz if if you've ever shipped a ryzen CPU you know especially am4 am3 am2 um am5 they went away from but these little pins are a absolute pain in the butt because they're super easy to bend and and you basically if you bend them and they a pin braks off hard to fix got to have them like little welded back on or uh I guess I don't know what word I'm thinking of but anyway I have these little uh 3D printed trays that um there's a lip inside the edge so that way the CPU uh is supported by the edge and not the pins so when you put it in there boom she sits nice and snug then you slide it on into there and I tape that up and that makes shipping these things significantly easier now I have had one person that said out of the Min ryzen CPUs that I've I've sent they said it came out of here and it had one little tiny bent pin they were able to bend it back and had no issues uh I don't know if potentially that pin was bent before I put it in there because I have not experienced any problems and these things are they're they're held in they're really good so now I need to find my tape oh there it is what I like to do is just slap a little bit of piece of tape over this just so it won't slide out and then I grab a bubble mailer and I'm going to put this in a bubble mailer even though it's going to be inside of a larger box with this other stuff just to uh add a little protection for the CPU um yeah I got to go grab some some stuff to to pack up those other cards oh my goodness little static electricity so yeah thanks for your business I appreciate you uh order number 1315 and uh hats off um we are experiencing some delays on some of the x99 boards so if you recently put an order in for x99 stuff we sold out last week and I had another case that was supposed to be here early this week um and it got delayed um they're already State Side most of these do come from overseas uh and some people are also reaching out to me being like hey we buy a lot of these Zeon boards and we use them in builds and we're how are you still getting your boards cuz we noticed we're getting delays or canceled orders um I have had two cases canceled on me but I still have uh one case that's already in the country um and then one case that is has departed overseas and should be at Customs any day now so I still have a few cases coming in I don't know if this is a for warning of things to come because the prices on this this Hardware is already started to go up I don't know I've heard some rumors about computer hardware is becoming starting it's not scarce yet but um becoming more scarce it's not as plentiful uh and it's not just falling out of the ears of everybody overseas right now in the US it's still everywhere prices have not started to go up at all in my opinion if you have an an idea please drop it down below but before we get off here I have some more orders but they're like single graphics cards and stuff like that so I figured out I'll do those off camera I try to get at least when I'm in the shop at least one of them on video but I had a box from my friend over at the technicals and I figured I'd open it up and show you guys what I got so we got a CPU mining stand SL testbench and it ended up being like it was $29 and then like four bucks shipping so after tax and everything you know like 35 bucks give or take and I got him to put the YouTube channel name uh on the front so I thought that was cool um go check him out the technicals he has a YouTube channel and he did a video on these these mining stands um and then you can have your name or whatever you want put on the front of them he had uh like the rig like 5900 X and that kind of thing on them and I thought that's kind of cool but I changed my my Hardware like underwear so I figured this would be a lot more Universal obviously I'm using my selfie camera right now so this is backwards but you know what I'm talking about um I'm going to put this together real quick you know what let's do it live well not live let's do it while we're here um it shouldn't be too hard it's literally like four or five pieces I imagine I can figure it out so this is obviously the top piece and um in his video he references how the motherboard standoff is just pegs it's not threaded so that way a motherboard just sits on there and uh it sits on the little pegs I like that for like swapping around stuff uh because in my opinion why why do we need to screw everything down especially on a test so Kudos you I thought that was an awesome idea all right so now I believe this one goes right here I think this one goes right here he made them different sizes so you can't put them in the wrong side genius right yeah so they clip together oh yeah there we go it is Brandon proof now this piece goes in the bottom I believe got a a little tiny bit of warpage right there on this very far corner I have that on my 3D printer too and I don't know how to fix it obviously it makes no difference in this application but I just thought I saw that and I was just like dang that's what mine does too all let's clip that in there without breaking it cuz I'm good at breaking things T tada now this piece goes like that yeah there it is okay I know what I'm doing trained professional here ladies and gentlemen I totally put that backwards don't mind me don't mind me I'm going I'm just testing how good it is to take it apart and put it back together all right so it is it is literally dummy proof and I still manag to put it in the wrong way each side is slotted at different lengths and different widths so it can only go together one way and be correct I like that good design all right that goes right there that goes right there this piece goes in here I should have probably done this before I put the the other Edge on there it's okay I think I can think I can get it in there we go that's what she said tada all righty so boom Brandon coin plop a uh motherboard on there oh it's got it it's got the technicals on it sneaky brand placement I like it subliminal um I'm probably going to bring this to the house and set this up over on my left side desk I don't know I guess I could get more of these and use these for my CPU miners that'd be kind of cool I'm not sure durability test H all right so um yeah let's let's get off here this video is way too long later guys have a good one bye all right so a little bit of bonus content here uh just had an order come in and I've had a couple of these where it's typically somewhere overseas uh Shopify Flags it as a high fraud risk even though it passes this CVV or CCV um uh address is correct it still Flags it from for some reason um and it doesn't have to do with the IP let me actually pull up the uh the fraud analysis it says characteristics of this order are similar to fraudulent orders oh okay billing address or credit card's address was not available that's not good billing zip or postal code isn't available to match with the credit cards registered address location of Ip used to place the order is in um 4 miles from the shipping Lo so it's like potentially maybe they have a address here and they're getting it shipped there the only the next thing is is I reach out to them so my next course of action whenever I get any kind of fraud risk alerts on an order is I send them an email and I'm like hey can you contact me blah blah blah give me a call um and most people most people overseas are just like oh I can't call a US number and then that's when I proceed to hey here's my Skype um and then everybody everybody is just like do you have WhatsApp and I'm like I don't so do I need to get WhatsApp is that like a is that a thing now I know a lot of people use it everseas um so yeah I'm like here's my Skype and here's my Discord um I need to get on a call and talk to you you and confirm this order there's been only a very few situations where people have actually either called me or got onto a Discord call and I'm just like hey can you confirm your uh first and last name and they're like oh oh um well uh hold on one second and I'm like come on dude can you confirm the billing address can you confirm the shipping address you know and it's like you just you hit them with those questions really quick and basic stuff you should know um like your name your first and last name you should know that regardless anyway uh and and then I just cancel the order and there's been a couple people that maybe they had legitimate orders cuz then they get back to me and then they're upset you know oh why did you cancel my order and I'm just like I can confirm that it wasn't a fraud risk and I've already given away like three graphics cards this year and then I get penalized because I send it out I get my payment and then all of a sudden I get a charge back a week a month later 2 months later uh I don't know what the statute of limitations on charge back is um so I don't get my money back and I lose the card it's like a lose lose and then I get charged a fee to pay extra so no I'm canceling your order I'm sorry if you can't confirm it and it's a high fraud risk cancel in it it's got to got to protect old bottom line I think I just heard somebody come in maybe not um but yeah so if I reach out to you and I email you and I do include in my emails that if you can't respond back within 24 hours your order will be cancelled it's not a threat it's a promise so let me go cancel this right now
