hey guys ARP here hope you're doing well having a really great day we got a new announcement from gold shell this is just a quick update for you guys in this video today as of recording they announced this on their X account about an hour and a half ago as of recording and this is a new goldshell e- dg1 M and I just realized that abbreviation here dg1 sounds very familiar like alphapex dg1 here but I wanted to go through how efficient this thing is or how not efficient this minor is compared to other uh you know Litecoin Marge mining Dogecoin and now Bell's Asic miners okay so we're going to talk about that in this video go through as well as the profitability and as well as uh just making sure that it is true to what the profitability is currently as I think the shipping of this thing is they said in 14 business days so something to consider but depends on the price which I think we're we're going to talk about the price okay and as well as through the L9 okay which has been shipping out and just doing some fun theoretical math of how many l9s have shipped out recently cuz I just heard that the l9s have been shipping out so we're going to do some fun theoretical math there so before we talk about all this thank you for today's video sponsor crypto Miner Bros if you guys are looking for any type of Asic miners they got all the top brands in terms of the most recent popular as6 that have been coming out as well as the prices you see on their website is shipping to your door okay this is all in pricing with including shipping and DDP also use code red panda for another $70 off each Asic minor ordered link down below all right so gold shell has announced this new e- dg1 M so they took this abbreviated term here from alphapex for sure but the biggest thing here the hash rate that this can achieve is 3.4 G hat plus or minus 1,800 Watts so that's a efficiency of 529 jewles per gigahash then they have a low power mode 2.6 gash plus orus 5% and then 1100 Watts okay so 423 jewles per gigahash so that looking at this right now okay just uh in my head 1,800 Watts on hash rate mode you know this is wouldn't be considered like a home minor because uh for those that have 100 12 volt at home especially in North America okay I'm just speaking about North Americans you know 120 volt would be considered home mining for majority of people that have uh 120 volt you know 15 amp Outlets which you know you don't want to go past the 80% rule on a 120 volt circuit 15 amp circuit which is going to be about if we just did some math here 120 time uh 15 amps that's going to be about 1,800 Watts so that would pretty much saturate a whole 15 amp circuit all right but again we want to do 80% rues so we times 80 you know we want to go we only want to go like 1440 Watts on a singular uh 120 volt 15 amp circuit so in that case you will want to run the low power mode okay which is 2.6 ghash at 1100 Watts so how efficient is this new gold shell e- dg1 M so it's it's not it it it it's uh it's old technology well it's the same pretty much efficiency as like their mini Doge uh 3 and mini Doge 3 plus you know that they've uh released over the past this past year okay they're even a little bit more efficient than the e dg1 m in normal mode that is but of course they have the LPM mode here so that makes it the most efficient gold shell all right Asic minor for Litecoin merge mining Dogecoin and whatnot so this is something where I think you know if you're looking at it comparing to the bitmain L7 which has been out now for like a past couple years you can see that the efficiency is you know obviously marginally like five .5 uh in terms of Whopper hash better than the gold shell e- d1m but just considering okay I'm trying to I'm not going to just bash on gold shell here I know a lot of people will um we will talk about the price here in a second is that the only Saving Grace regarding these things is that people love these gold shell miners is because you can have them at home to provide heat that's it that in my opinion that's one of the really one of the selling factors regarding these miners especially gold shells little box miners all that kind of stuff it's going to be a little amount of heat that they can provide you in the winter time uh depending if you live in a cold environment so that's what I've heard from most most people and myself I use a lot of the gold Shaw small miners as heaters during the winter so it's great in that regard but in ter terms of if you're a big minor like scaling and you have lots of units uh you're you're you're probably not going to get into this gold shell e- dg1 M because it's yeah you could you'd rather just spend the money you know extra $3,000 by L7 probably and uh I didn't update the L7 prices here but l7s I don't even think they sell the l7s anymore or maybe they do but they they range from 5 to 7,000 last time I checked so but anyways besides the point now let's talk about the price okay so the price of this e- dg1 m on gold Shell's website is $219 with a shipping date of 14 days okay 14 days so looking at the price here okay this is where the dollar per Mega hash uh matters here okay so it's a 0 0.78 uh dollar per megahash so if we looking at some other models especially the alphapex uh home quiet minor which does uh 2.1 gigahash at 620 Watts that gives an efficiency of 0.29 all right and this is this is priced at $1300 that you guys are probably seen on Alpha pex's website uh please uh go check out crypto Miner Bros they actually have the alphapex dg1 home on pre-order right now for end of November to December 10th batch okay so that is a good couple months away all right mind you all right so if you're comparing that to how gold shells you know this model here is in 14-day handling time so shipping in September so you'll get it a little bit earlier but that will that make a big difference long term I I think the efficiency factor is going to be the biggest selling point here especially uh for alphapex is here is this thing is a lot better A lot better priced and also more efficient okay power consumption way down 620 WTS 2.1 gash the edg1 m is 2 2.6 ghash 1100 WT almost double the power consumption than the uh home quiet minor from alphapex okay this this guy right here so I think yeah this one is probably not going to sell that much in my opinion this is not priced too well 0.78 per Mega has and then the home quiet fex1 is 0.62 per Mega hash okay I I'm suspecting why gold shell is selling it for a little bit higher is because it's available respectively now in the next two weeks versus um the alphapex one is in three two or three months from now three months from now four months from now wait September October November December yeah so four months from now um for the alphapex okay so yeah I don't know honestly this thing because of the efficiency of how it it's you know almost you know another 1.2 time are two times less efficient than the alphapex one here 0.29 at versus 0.42 so maybe a good 1.5 time here so this thing should be priced at like considering that it's available in the next two weeks maybe should be hell this should be $1,300 that that's what I that would be a 0.550 doll per Mega hash but anyways let me know what you guys think now the profitability of this thing if you were to get this thing now okay so Asic minor value did place the profitability of this thing on uh on their website just today as of recording when this thing was announced like an hour and a half ago as of recording uh apparently this thing would profit at 10 cent kilowatt hour can mind you how many home miners now have 10 cents kilowatt hour not many but at 10 cents kilowatt hour this thing will profit about a dollar I do want to verify if this thing is actually profitable at this uh on on different websites here in a second but you can see here uh depending on which mode you're going going the normal mode and uh low power mode low power mode will make a little bit more because you can see the power consumption or the efficiency is obviously a lot better on low power mode here so it say making a142 versus A1 uh 98 so uh as we go up here I mean people that have let's say 12 cents per kilo hour you're breaking even on the normal mode at 12 cents Kil Kow hour at 13 you're making negative 31 cents on on normal mode um 15 cents yeah you're you're making negative but you're breaking even on the low power mode okay 10 cents profit so Revenue though um is going to be like around it says $5 $530 now I don't know how true that is that's what I was trying to compare to like an L7 which seems to be pretty much on par I think what hash r.

Here has for their L7 profit dg1 uh and especially their l9s which l9s I want to talk about in a second here but when you know they're releasing now um but just doing some manual profit calculator on Hash rate. Hash rate. um now I don't know if this is if I'm calculating this wrong but I put 3,400 megahash okay and I also put the uh 1 1800 watts uh on the Dogecoin for the profit uh calculation here um but I did not put the Power for the LTC okay because LTC uh doing the math I think it's about you know about 85 to 90 92% most of the profits coming from Dogecoin so looking here it says that this gold shell this new model is supposed to make $5 a day this is not even including Bells now I have a calculation here where I I want to I want to see if coin Wars would able to calculate this correctly so coin Wars is calculating that you if we're mining Litecoin on this gold shell uh new gold shell thing at home it will revenue is 67 cents Revenue then for Dogecoin would be about $84 according to uh coin Wars uh which I think is which I think if we're comparing again comparing it to the L7 um seems to be might be on point seems to be on point then if we go to Bells all right this is now a lot of people are wanting to mine Bells um the revenue here apparently is only 12 cents okay now I know people are looking at the you know we're making minus 31 cents here that's because the power consumption is here I forgot to change that I can only do it to 1 cent um so yeah it's if you had it's calculated I put the power consumption on the Dogecoin so after your power after your $432 electrical cost at 1,800 Watts you know 3.4 gash normal mode you're making $3.7 on Dogecoin wanting to compare because I don't know if basic minor value is either calculating it correctly or hash rate.

And coin Wars is calculating it wrong so I I thought I'd just go through these two different profit calculators and see uh which one it would be correct or not I also did calculate it on what to mine just to verify uh the Dogecoin profitability uh just by itself shows here Revenue 300 uh $310 all right so the profit here would be minus a122 so this looks like to be more in line with Asic minor values numbers here so I either hash rate. is wrong okay or NCoin Wars is wrong okay okay now okay now they're making a li out of me okay now they're making a l all right I just refreshed I just refreshed okay let me calculate here no coin Wars didn't refresh but I just you guys just saw this look at that look at this now at 10cent Kil hour which I did on the same on coin Wars is uh Now power cost is $432 revenue $257 so this is now a do minus .75 uh pretty much it says minus a108 on this new gold shell so I think hash rate.

Know's website's kind of glitched out all right so I don't know yeah I I'm I don't know how how they're calculating it but I thought I'd just touch on that a little bit maybe you know Asic minor value they did just update this so I'm thinking that this is probably correct so finally let's talk about the L9 shipping out okay so I was looking at the uh I just got word that they got shipped just yesterday okay as of recording okay the l9s they're shipping out from bitmain so if they were being packed up on August 19th all right and the hash rate has dropped about A8 a 08 of a Peta hash so just let's just do some quick math here okay so what does an L9 do an L9 does 16 gigahash right 16 gigahash L9 okay so going back to here um doing the calculation here uh so if we did uh 8 of a petahash okay and then now we're going to take this number here okay and then we're going to uh divide it by a single L9 so this will give us potentially 5,000 l9s may have turned off and now are being shipped out okay this is I'm just correlating minusing out the 1.21 petahash minus 1.4 uh 14 uh so that would be about yeah about eight okay about 0.8 0.08 of a petahash that has dropped on the network for Dogecoin all right so so if about 5,000 of these l9s have been shipped out I mean that's that's how much it affected the network here I mean not that bad actually um so yeah 5,000 of them okay so it's if it'll go back up here profitability will be obviously a little bit down but that's also going to depend on uh dogecoins price which has been pretty much going down over the past half year here so whether or not it's going to Boom back up uh for Dogecoin mining who knows but you know the l7s or Dogecoin mining has or Litecoin Dogecoin merge mine Dogecoin and now bells in a case which honestly Bells it seems like it's really nothing dropping a bucket unless Bell's moons okay price appreciates that's the the Saving Grace there for having uh more profitability is that is Dogecoin going to you know l7s and such have been profitable over the past couple years um now that these l9s are coming out yeah I mean I think L 9's Litecoin mining uh merge mine Dogecoin and now Bells I think it's a pretty safe bet pretty stable bet for Asic miners especially if you have lower electrical cost um these seem to have uh seem to be have been pretty stable in terms of profit okay so anyways guys that's it that's all I wanted to talk about let me know what you guys think about the new gold shell e- g1m um all that we talked about here and it's funny that they took the same uh they took the same abbreviation here dg1 and then they have the e dg1 m here that's so funny uh anyways I'll see you guys in the next one have a good one uh peace out
