Avalon Nano 3 not working

what is up ladies and gentlemen I am in the computer shop today this is Brandon on Brandon coin but um I have some of my solo Miners and little stuff running and um the Avalon Nano which this actually really blows because this was some something that somebody lent to me uh they sent it over and they were like hey you can use it um make some videos that kind of thing and um then you know when it comes winter time you can send it back to me cuz he didn't want to run it in his house during summertime well now this unit looks like it has given up the ghost um so I said I reached out to support haven't heard back yet apparently looking online tons of these uh Nanos have been dying um this one is giving a fan reporting error so some people said you can open it up you can unplug the fans plug them back in I have not opened this one up I do not want to avoid the warranty on it um I did take the panels off and um I just did a hard reset on it and with the panels off and I put this box fan obviously not the most optimal fan but I put that box fan right there uh in front of it it is running okay I don't want to say it's running great let me pull up our stats here and show you the error I was getting so we'll refresh this all right let me flip it around all right so mining status hash fan which apparently when that goes readed and it reads as hash fan that means the Fan's dead fan status says 0% but obviously if I go over there the fans are spinning other concerning thing we're not seeing any uh mining minor temperature so I don't know if there is another issue here um it is still submitting but it's only doing it at a fraction of what it should be mining at um if I do restart it let's go over to configuration we'll set the air speed at low confirm it was on high and we'll get a Refresh on that and then if we go over to here the device restarts really quick it will Spike up to like you know 1 point something terahash but then it comes right down and it's it's pumping heat out oh sorry about that hold on I turn this off just for a second so it looks like it just restarted see the fans are definitely running Avalon Nano 109 hash 2.5t level is high I just set it to low looks like it didn't take but yeah so it'll Spike up to like full hash rate but then it always comes back down cuz I guess there's a fan recording error or something along those lines I'm not exactly sure um so I am going to actually unplug it let that bad boy sit um and and uh get it ready probably to send back for service um I do have another Nano that just came in uh because I never actually finished doing the initial like opening unboxing and and review video uh and I can't do it now on this one uh but I do still have to get my friend a working Nano back to him um this one has not been running continuous for I'd say more than a month and it looks like when I was online most people hold on let me flip the camera around again it looks like most people um if they had their Nano die or have a problem with their Nano it happened within the first month a lot of people said they were having issues out of the black Nanos um this one is a dark blue like a navy blue um I don't know it's just one of those things they got this is she was running she was running now she ain't um and she don't think she's got a fan in there even though she's got three of them so yeah I am using the OEM um power adapter from uh from Canan so we're not using an aftermarket power adapter some people said they had issues of aftermarket ones bricking their device I don't know I cannot confirm I just know that we have a mostly dead Avalon Nano right here technically I guess technically not dead but dead um can't let her run and I'm not going to let a a a a box fan run behind it and and potentially you know risk like breaking something or whatever but yeah yep that's how the cookie crumbles ain't it um anyway I hope youall enjoy that I'd love to hear from anybody else that has a nano have you had problems what have you done to resolve those problems I'll also keep you guys updated through the RMA or warranty process for getting this device fixed uh see if they offer any solutions or advice uh in the interim um but yeah yeah so this is another uh dive on me doing or dive of me going into this uh solo minor space which I am I do have more solo miners coming in because I'm kind of I kind of kind of addicted you know addicted to the old the old Lottery aspect but uh I kind of like want one of every like solo Miner not every solo Miner ever invented cuz technically everything could be a solo Miner but like one of all the current solo Miners and just build me out like a solo Miner area you know wouldn't that be cool all right anyway youall have a good one there's the Nano say goodbye Nano all right goodbye
