he [Music] [Music] hey guys red panda mining here hope you all doing well having a really great day this is just a filler video regarding the 20 GPU rig so I pranked you guys on April 1st that I was going to build like another seven or eight gpus on the second row and I never did it okay I I pranked you guys this video I'm going to tell you straight away this is not going to be a video of me installing more gpus onto this 20 GPU mining motherboard the whole reason for this whole build here is just because of this motherboard and so I actually just bought a few more gpus that you just saw earlier I'll talk about that in a second but you also May Wonder red panda what about these other 50 hxs that you have sitting on this box here and yes they were meant to try to attempt a 20 GPU rig but after reading the manual for this Asus h370 mining Master motherboard the realization and the stress of attempting to do those gpus on this rack was in my opinion unobtainable so what I did was pre- purchase these Invidia Zotac p1061 100s I got these From Nerd gears they're about3 $5 each on their website and you guys may be saying right Panda these P 106s they don't mind anything profitable at all and you know what you're right you are very right these cards are not a profitable GPU by any means but I did go to Hash rate.

Just to see what these were doing now and I think break even right now is around 10 cent per kilowatt hour okay so if you had 10 cent per kilowatt hour or lower these gpus would be at least breaking even or turning a little bit of profit so yeah I have these P 106s because the Asus h370 mining Master motherboard requires the P series mining cards okay like these gpus so I've had similar experience in the past with the you know Asus B250 mining expert motherboard where I did need to have P series cards in order to run you know 19 gpus or 21 gpus or whatever so that's why I got these okay I've got all eight of them for about 350 bucks or something like that and so yeah I just wanted to let you guys know the biggest reason why I bought these I already did a live stream of unboxing these some people were questioning Randa why did you buy these old like six-year-old gpus and that's the reason it's it's for the 20 GPU rig okay guys it's for you guys that are watching this video or that are interested in that 20 GPU mining rig which is utterly the bane of my existence that rig has given me so much mental stress you guys have absolutely no idea but I am determined to at least get ready to get that rig going okay so that's why I got these P 106s but another thing I kind of wanted to expand a bit on these uh P 106s being you know a pretty decent buy for $35 I'd say for anyone that has I don't know free electric or maybe is just getting started in crypto mining you know they don't have a lot of money and they have free Power then you know I would say the Zotac P 106s could be a you know a decent GPU for you especially if you had free electric okay that really goes hand in hand because right now these things are obviously not an efficient GPU for mining I mean they are decent okay decent for what you pay for $35 again current profitability of this thing I think is under under 10 cent per kilowatt hour so if you had 10 cent per kilowatt hour this thing would be profitable mining something called gem link or Bitcoin gold okay so just like five earning about what five or six cents after 10cent kilowatt hour uh if you had free electric though you'd be earning about 27 uh 26 Cents or something so I'm not sure how you know how updated these hash rates are on hash rate.

For these 6-year-old gpus okay it's it's been a while since I've actually tested these and uh maybe there are a little bit a few optimizations for these I'm not quite sure maybe overboard Tech would be the best guy uh he overclocking and testing on a lot of different gpus so probably comment on this video I know you're watching overboard Tech so let me know uh down below bro if you have some hash rate numbers for people they can look at and you know input into hash rate.

If they care about profitability but I'd say you know you could build a mining rig like a 6 GPU Zotac p106 mining rig you know $35 each card so a good like $200 in gpus and then you know spend another 150 bucks or 200 bucks on the motherboard power supply C Ram uh you know a cheap SSD you can build a decent 300400 $500 mining rig at home and again I stressed that this would probably be good for beginners good for people that are just starting out or have free electric at home or have never you know done crypto mining before and you've never built a computer before I think these are a great value a good GPU to get into first uh for crypto mining so you know if you you know break the or drop them or burn them or surge them or something you're not going to be too hard pressed because this is your first mining rig that you decided to do and uh decided to do it with these P 106s which are I would say workhorses and the condition of these are are pretty good From Nerd gears being about $35 a little bit I saw a little bit of dirt on the inside there but if you had like an ultrasonic uh cleaner or an I don't know some air blower of some sort maybe you can clean them up a little bit more probably have to open them up and uh do some re thermal paste on these but see for 35 bucks it's a great intro I'd say this is a great intro uh GPU for somebody that's uh maybe just wanting to get into crypto Mining and you know also has free electric at home and just you know wants to Tinker around with uh gpus that are pretty cheap $35 in my opinion pretty good pretty cheap obviously for the veterans out there P 106s are not going to appease your maybe addiction to you know maybe buying 307s or 40 series cards or whatever you know more efficient gpus obviously so you guys all watching understand what I mean there but anyways currently okay I have 7 50 hxs currently on this and uh if you guys are watching this video right now I'm actually on a little vacation so this is kind of like a filler video and so I I thought I just I need to have some videos you know pre-recorded before I leave and so if you're watching this after the fact uh yeah you guys probably know oh yeah red pen is away but I have this video pre-launched for you guys just to H just have this video really nothing about it other than talking about the P 106s here looks like I have an issue with uh this GPU here uh you guys can see the 750h XS yeah seems to be working just fine though okay so when I come back all right when I come back I am going to try out another uh s or eight uh 50 hxs on the second row here I already have the power supply ready to go I have the 50 hxs here if I can try 14 15 or 16 50 hxs and it works in Windows I'll continue to keep adding another 17 18 19 20 and see how it goes I'm expecting it to not work again because I'm going to need to utilize the p106 gpus okay something to do with the micro code on those I believe all the 8x's are X1 laned graphics cards anyway but I think it comes down to the the BIOS or the micro code of those P series cards meant for this Asus h370 mining Master right according to the manual so that's what I am drawing my conclusion to uh for this video but okay guys that's it just a filler video let me know what you guys think and I'll see you all in the next video have a good one peace out peace out
