what is up ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the Brandon coin YouTube channel um stayed up last night till like 3:00 a.m. cleaning and reboxing cards that were already tested um yeah yeah I'm a little tired but um I'm going out of town today it is Friday by the way I'm going out of town today so I had to get a bunch of orders done um I only allocated a certain amount to be on the web store cuz I didn't want it to get out of control uh I also have a bulk buy going through with an individual so I didn't want to oversell and then sell you know potentially some of his um so I cleaned off and boxed up 24 I think I'd already packed up a couple here but um it's it's so much more cumbersome when it's like oh yeah no big deal I'll just you know clean them off Rebox them and and throw them all back in they all have the original um foam around them and then they have the original bubble wrap around that foam and just getting everything to slot and S leave in there it's just it's already a tight fit getting it all back in there pain but you know what we're here we're making it happen so oh I think I'm getting a customer hold on bear with me well anyway welcome back uh it was somebody looking for the hair salon so I kindly directed it uh regardless though um I am I got more poly poly bags in or plastic bags and we will be bagging up all these um cuz the boxes are decent but don't want to ship them like this cuz people be people be stealing them packages you know what I'm saying so put it in a plastic bag who knows it might just be like a knife set or something something they don't want but um yeah so if you just got one of these within the last week your order is probably going out today I updated the website and um put at the top you know uh expect some shipping delays 2 to 3 days handling time on top of the shipping time just because I had gotten so many orders in such a short period of time um normally I'm always floating between you know 5 to 10 orders like every couple days it's like you know I get a couple more orders in and then I get a couple more orders out whether I'm you know sometimes waiting on this or waiting on that um if it's a significant amount of time I'll reach out to the customer and see if they just want to refund it or if they want to wait on it um no big deal uh but since I put these on there and I did the sale for the 2060s at $120 a piece um like the first night I got like 20 orders and then I got like you know and it's it's crazy because like I put these cards on sale but these cards are not exactly the ones that are selling but I guarantee I got the extra traffic from that video because that video got a lot lot of views on YouTube um so it's just like take the good with the bad um unusually sold some 570s sold some 580s actually a friend of mine bought the 570s but um sold some 1060s uh 1660s I think we're oh somebody else is out there talking I think we're officially sold out of 1660 supers the P andys at least um I think we still have some of the tough Asus toughs but yeah it's just it's been a good day so anyway um this is order [Music] number 1297 he got a single he or SLC he he SLC I can't even talk got a single 206k up we're getting her box up now and she'll be going out the door today all right so I've been asked this before and you know how do you ship a graphics card for resale and basically especially if it's an older card or the box is a little beat up and not necessarily in perfect condition um I normally just put them in the box because they're actually packaged pretty well inside the OEM box there are some exceptions um and then I just wrap a poly mailer that's what these plastic bags are called around them poly mailers are super cheap you can get like I think the the pack that I gets like 100 for like 20 bucks but um you get bigger ones and then full fold it over and then tape them so tape them all up now the trickier part if you don't have the original box what I typically go with is they're over there um let me grab one and uh actually hold on I think I have one right here all right here we go so really like this size right here these are the large USPS um flat rate boxes so this size does very well for you know even motherboards um and then it's you know thick enough that you can put padding below and padding above uh what I like to do though is I always like to put my card in a um a bubble mailer so let me show you what I'm talking about here's a small one for example but you would they make bigger ones I have a box of them somewhere you slide the card down in that and then I like to put another bubble mailer going the other way so they're kind of like you know closing it in and then what I've started doing is all my scrap paper especially like from my um shipping labels and stuff like the backing crumple them up and then I use that as packing material I got a bin down here below me full of it so and I'm always replenishing it so uh because like as I'm making more shipping stuff um I'm making more scrap paper so using paper as like packing material I don't have to end up buying very much foam or not I do have some foam like blocks and bricks that I've cut up from buying in new stuff um I don't deal with a lot of Styrofoam whenever I get Styrofoam in I try to pack it into the next available package cuz I just don't like Styrofoam sitting around if it gets like bumped into or broken it gets really nasty really quick um but I do reuse a lot of uh shipping material and whether you want to call it green or Eco or you know saving the planet it's cost effective it saves money so if you order a lot of Amazon stuff to your house they ship those a lot of times and those bubble mailers save those bubble mailers gpus fit in those great um save those Amazon boxes you can reuse those as well and if you're not 100% sure about a box like you know like Integrity wise you can always take those poly mailers and put that over the box and then tape it up and it just adds like another layer of security so um those are some of my like biggest tips and tricks for shipping gpus now if you have a nice GPU and you have a nice box obviously package it in the OEM box and then put it in a bigger box and then you can put packaging material around that uh just to keep it as secure as possible and then my biggest thing is don't don't rely on the USPS insurance system um their claim Insurance system is garbage if you have something expensive and something nice send it UPS send if it's if it's over 5 600 bucks send it UPS and put insurance on it with UPS some people have said they've had good luck out of FedEx I don't know FedEx has always been more expensive so I never use them but um little stuff $100 $200 I'll send that USPS uh but everything else UPS cuz if you have a claim you're actually going to get your money this calendar year um USBS is just lacking in a lot of ways on that in so yeah hopefully that helps if you have any other questions about like you know shipping computer parts please comment down below um another good thing to get is here I always try to keep you know a couple rolls of bubble wrap because you can just wrap this around your stuff and just extra security can't really get wrong with extra bubble wrap there we go all right on to the next order all right so here's a perfect example of uh an unusual amount of stuff being bought they bought 16 cards and this box only holds uh 12 13 yeah 12 cards so then we're going to essentially extend this box up add these four right here on top and we're going to basically make a new top and then tape it all together so um I'm going to cut up some cardboard and put some cardboard on top and everything tape it all up and it'll end up looking halfway uh I say halfway decent it'll it'll look okay and it'll get the job done um and you have to do that every now and then when you get unusually sized orders just because that's the nature of the game otherwise if you had to run out and buy the exact fit box for every situation you have a bajillion different boxes and a lot of box cost so just take that with a grain of salt so with the power of YouTube magic look at that little Mona Lisa right there work of art and um don't ever be afraid to put extra tape on it actually used there's a little bit of Gap right there so I shove some of those little small poly mailers in there one thing I like to do is keep everything nice and taut inside of there you don't want any space cuz any space it'll jingle and jangle around so it'd be it's much much better in my opinion for it to be uh like one solid unit but she came in at 29 lbs all right and this is a little behind the scenes what I'm talking about so I added $2,000 of coverage on it only added $25 see the subtotal for shipping would have been $493 cuz this is going to Canada but Shopify plan discount because I pay for a higher tier Shopify plan I get an additional discount so it takes off $390 so the total only ends up being $128 that that discount is almost the sole reason why I pay extra uh to be on that next tier for Shopify uh cuz this even beats out pirate ship I just plugged this into pirate ship a second ago thinking maybe they would be better pirate ship came back at almost $230 after the discount which you know going from $490 to 230 is great but going from $490 to 128 is amazing that's that's huge so it doesn't always work out that well uh but yeah so if you have Shopify and you're thinking about you know stepping up to the higher tier because you get more uh what is it more of a discount on shipping I've noticed it it helped out a ton for me but just just saying it your mileage may vary and it does also vary depending on where it's going in the beginning that was my really tough point is I didn't have like I didn't want to use the calculators because I felt like the calculators were always kind of like shooting High maybe is a good a good way to express it but the calculators were actually just figuring out retail like shipping costs and when you get down on Lower weight retail versus your discount you're you know it's it's a lot closer you know you're saving B you know a couple bucks but as you scale up you end up saving significantly because your percentage obviously as you go up your percentage helps out significantly more um and I think you I think there's like some kind of uh bulk um discount I'm not exactly sure how it works out let's see here um I thought it had a um had a breakdown here maybe not but yeah just food for thought uh because originally I was like oh let me do flat rate shipping on everything but flat rate shipping doesn't work because depending on if it's going west coast overseas International it just youd never have you would never be right you'd either always be way over or way under all right ladies and gentlemen I'm going to go take lunch and drop off these packages right here um I think almost all these are graphics cards if not uh I think there was a motherboard in one of these uh but yeah so moving a lot of graphics cards if you need any questions or if you have any questions or need any help with anything you can always get up with me on the shop cell phone number if I don't answer just send me a text message 919 9649 947 all right ladies and gentlemen I'm going to end it yall have a good one I'll see you on the next one [ __ ]
