Buying GPUs from Crypto Miners

all right we are back and we have a box of goodies so to the meat and the potatoes we got some some gpus so there there's a gaming X Trio which is a MSI like upper end card 3070 TI 370 TI is not necessarily an upper-end card anymore but like gaming X Trio was msi's maybe mid mid to Upper tier so uh got a little RGB three fans pretty nice um we're not going to pop these out of the boxes yet I'll wait till I do testing because we have quite a few we got to get through but that is not that is not all we have more so this guy right here it's actually a little bit of it's like some residue on it what the heck is that huh that's weird see what is that it's not wet in there but um yeah that's weird uh 3060 TI Founders and it looks like oh look at that look at that somebody bought this from stockx it has the stockx certified sticker so that's kind of cool have not have not had many gpus come through that were stockx certified um these do have like really nice boxes and stuff so if you ship these things they stay super super secure um did it come with oh no that is unfortunate it did not come with the cable dang best things um so yeah the little adapter cable up top I'm probably going to have to snag one of those cuz you can't really sell these cards um without them it's it's definitely a pain in the butt even if you say like it's missing the cable somebody's going to buy it and then they're going to be like Oh missing the cable it's like yeah that was that was in the ad um then it's still going to be your fault but yeah so good stuff we'll plop that right there more more to come what do we have right here we have a sorry about the notifications um Asus 2080 turbo this is a blower card not necessarily my favorite but 2080 still gets it done nowadays for like an I mean I say budget level like gaming computer but 2080s can still play everything at 1080p um like everything so I I don't even consider this a budget card this is just a good card like for somebody starting out an entry level that that's what it is upper entry level card like this will mop the floor with a what 3050 or what's everybody buying now 40 60 I'm not I'm not quite sure t f be at 4060 um oh here we go here's some fire MSI Ventus 2x 470 and this is a it's an OC Edition 12 gab it's a really light hold on look let me make sure it's in there this is a super lightweight box this card must weigh nothing I swear the more and more Generations that go by of graphics cards the uh just feels like they kind of almost like some of these companies just get cheaper and cheaper wow this is the cooler on this thing feels like nothing this is a 4070 wow MSI I've had my hands on a few 407s 480s this by far is the cheapest feeling 40 series card I've ever had my hands on it's a MSI Ventus um they went looks like they have a new cooler Design This plastic just feels like uber cheap H it is unfortunate but I mean I guess it really doesn't matter at the end of the day if it works and if it hashes gets good performance who cares what it feels like I don't know still like having a premium feeling product in my hands you know like nobody grabs a a founder Edition 1080 TI and I was like this feels cheap no Founders Edition 1080 TI could be used as like a lethal weapon and then you could still probably play games on it afterwards all right next up um another Ventus 2X and it looks like there's there's some kind of like oily residue so I'm definitely going to have to check and make sure everything is is working but yeah don't know what that's about luckily uh everything's boxed up pretty good but Ventus uh 2x this is the 30 series Ventus so it's a 3060 TI this cooler is really cheap as well but the new ones feel even cheaper you know just they all Hands-On uh next up 3080 Asus tough love this cooler design uh from Asus these are huge even if you buy a 3060 3060 TI 3070 if it's a tough they're almost all like ident Aly massive big heat sinks on them um really nice fans uh I haven't had too many issues out of these so yeah 3080 can't complain 3080 is still getting it done by far in 2024 end of 2024 oh here we go we got a big M gigabyte 4080 so oh it's a 480 super my bad um so yeah this one feels like it's got some girth to it you know what this one we we owe this one a favor we need to open her up show her off now being that it's a it's it's a OC Edition wind Force AKA I don't think it's any anything fancy RGB wise we can still take a look at it she's she's she's hey she's a unit oh my goodness gracious girlfriend look at this all right look at that it's a triple wide card so there's two slots and then there's literally a whole another slot this is like a three and a quarter um she this is it's a big boy right there as for power it runs off of one of those Nvidia 12 pin plugs which oh no I didn't see it in there dang definitely going to not going to be able to sell that thing without it so definitely going to have to get a couple of those cables big huge fans on these gigabyte hasn't really changed the fan design in a while um oh and it does have RGB Rings inside here so that's pretty cool so I don't know if you can see down in there it's got those the white those white rings are RGB so yeah this bad boy's got a little RGB maybe some RGB up here not bad should we we keep it should we keep it maybe maybe not I don't know it's a big card it's a big it's a big unit it's a big girl it's got the little little pamphlet that came with it that's good I love when people keep the boxes and keep all the original packaging it makes it 10 times easier for shipping and for resale it's just so much nicer so much nicer sitting on the shelf so much nicer for displaying all of it all right next up we have ooh ooh RTX 3080 and this is a oh it's a trinity okay so this is one of their nicer end nicer like higher end Zotac cards you know me I've never been a huge Zotac fan but it is what it is we'll uh we'll take the good with the bad my I don't want to say the hatred it's not hatred that's the wrong word my dislike of Zotac cards is mainly due to the 3060 TI white uh what is it twin frozers just because those had so many fan problems even the like the the sticker would get brown from like the the motors getting warm on the little fans so uh the this is a dirty one this is this is a dirty one uh this one actually needs a fan repair hold on this's missing a fan blade wanted to see if it was down in there so yeah one of the fans on this bad boy broken um she's a little Dusty but she'll probably still get it done what is this one it's a 3080 yeah um yeah definitely need to going to still going to have to go through plug all these in do some testing make sure everything's good before we send any out the door um I do potentially want to hold on to maybe one or two of these um because I have thought about expanding some more AI um workload Generation stuff so I'm not I'm probably not going to be expanding on salad just because I feel like they are at capacity but really been looking at flux some people said it's good some people said it's not you how that goes I kind of got to do my own research but um yeah so that is let me make sure that's it all right that's it for that one um I'm probably going to wait and go through that next box uh tomorrow because I got to get the old test bench booted up and start going through these cards I have a a couple people that are interested in that 4070 and then I think I think I had somebody that wanted a 2080 or maybe it was a 2080 super that they wanted I don't know I'll reach out to them but um if you guys didn't see I did a video in the past oh goodness um this is my my new test bench so ryzen 5600 um just a little uh I think it's 7 or 800 W power supply and then I have it running to just a tiny little 17in or 18in monitor over there my my bad it's actually it's a 20-in 20-in monitor um and that seems to get it done then I can plop cards in I already have a uh a Windows drive on there so that way I can run I have been running Heaven on them some people told me that's a bad Benchmark some people told me it's a great Benchmark some people told me oh you need to use pass Mark you need to use this you need to use that um I don't know drop your favorite benchmarking tools down below I'd love to know uh in the past I would just you know fire the car cards up make sure they you know booted into windows and had no artifacts but then I had cards that that would end up running for a while and artifacting i' never found out about it so that's why I do Benchmark them from now on because um I'm not trying to find out about it you know a month later once somebody buys it builds a system and then you know they figure out it's artifacting 30 minutes
