Title: How to Send Your Mind Iron Fish from CLI Wallet to The Exchange: A Step-by-Step Guide
Introduction
In this article, we will guide you through the process of sending your Mind Iron Fish from your CLI wallet to The Exchange, allowing you to make a profit. We will start by ensuring that your node is properly set up and synced. Then, we will cover the necessary commands and steps to transfer your funds to The Exchange.
Step 1: Check Your Wallet Version and Network
To begin, you must be using version 1.0.1 of the Iron Fish CLI wallet. If you are still on version 1.0.0, which is the initial mainnet release, you need to update to the latest version. The new update includes the addition of the memo command, which is required for this process.
Next, make sure you are connected to the mainnet and not the test net. You can check this by verifying if your bootstrap says “main” instead of “test.” Additionally, use the Iron Fish base status command to confirm that your node is fully in sync. It should display the network you are on and the latest height.
Step 2: Choose the Exchange and Prepare the Memo
Currently, the available exchanges for Iron Fish are Safe Trade, Kucoin, and Gate IO (coming soon). For this guide, we will demonstrate the process using Kucoin, which requires the memo command.
Once you have chosen your exchange, generate your deposit address. Take note of both the deposit address and the memo associated with it. It is recommended to copy these details to a notepad or word document if your computer and node are on different devices. This way, you can easily copy and paste the information.
Step 3: Use the “Send” Command with Memo
Start by copying the memo associated with your exchange deposit address. Open your CLI wallet and enter the following command:
“`html
ironfish wallet: send –memo YOUR_MEMO
“`
Replace YOUR_MEMO with the actual memo you copied.
Please note that executing this command within the node’s Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) might not work. If that’s the case, run the command using a separate Powershell window.
Step 4: Enter the Amount and Public Address
After executing the command, you will be prompted to enter the amount of Mind Iron Fish you want to send. Specify the amount based on your preference.
The next prompt will ask for the public address of The Exchange. Paste the copied exchange address and press enter.
Step 5: Select the Transaction Fee
Following the address prompt, you will be asked to select the fee for the transaction. Use the arrow keys to navigate and choose an appropriate fee option. For simplicity, selecting the average fee should suffice.
Step 6: Confirm the Transaction
Once you have selected the fee, carefully review the transaction details. It will display the amount of Mind Iron Fish you are sending, along with the transaction fee. Confirm the transaction by typing “yes” and pressing enter.
Step 7: Track the Transaction
Upon confirmation, your wallet will initiate the transaction, and you will see the transaction ID or hash. Copy this information for tracking purposes.
It may take some time for the transaction to be mined and appear on The Exchange. The duration can vary from a few minutes to several hours, so patience is required.
Step 8: Monitor the Transaction Progress
To track your transaction’s progress, click on the provided explorer link or manually enter the transaction ID in the Iron Fish explorer. This will allow you to see the confirmations and other relevant information.
Step 9: Wait for the Transaction to Complete
The transaction will remain pending until it has received enough confirmations to be considered finalized. The number of required confirmations may vary depending on the exchange.
Step 10: Confirm the Deposit on The Exchange
Once your transaction is fully confirmed, you should see the Iron Fish deposit reflected in your account on The Exchange.
Additional Notes
It is important to note that the exact timing and process can vary depending on network conditions and exchange procedures. Always ensure you are following the exchange’s specific instructions and guidelines to avoid any potential issues.
Conclusion
Transferring your Mind Iron Fish from your CLI wallet to The Exchange is a straightforward process, provided that you follow the steps outlined in this guide. Remember to check your wallet version, network status, and ensure your node is fully synced before initiating the transaction. By following these steps, you can safely and efficiently send your Mind Iron Fish to The Exchange and start profiting from your investment.
Hope this helps you figuring out how to get your coins to an exchange to sell.
Good morning my friend! Ask me a question please. I have an ironfish balance on Kucoin and would like to withdraw to my CLI wallet. Is it necessary to include a memo for this procedure? In the CLI in wallet, help I didn't find anything about this. Thanks and hugs!

Great Info..was looking for withdrawal ironfish thanks for the info. ohh 25 bucks trade?? hahahhhaha "Limit"
People probably have the nodes disabled, they enable it only to send the coin, the transaction will only be available once the node is updated . Thats my guess.
did they introduced a burning system? because yesterday i got 20 iron and now only 0.1
Thanks Rab great job again)

i dont know if im overclocking wrong or what but i have 2 3060TI non LHR and a rtx 2060 and mines like 7GH
i been mining ironfish for like a week and only made like 1.89$
How to transfer coins from testnet to mainnet?
ironfish team have 42 milion pre mined coins !! So there is no use to mine this scam
Does anyone know how we do this from hiveos because i have a hiveos wallet
Thanks❤
I think exchange uses 1 deposit wallet for everyone, but uses memo as id for your deposit.
i have linked to your dero pool for more than 20 days and 55kh but nothing was received on my tradeogre address why and how can i my mining status ?
I created a Windows 10 VM. Windows is Such a resource hog.
Nothing else installed and its using 2.5 Gig of RAM, and something like 25 gig disk space.
Plus its dog slow.
I might do like sonofatech shows and setup a linux VM node.
Questions for you:
– I havent switched any rigs over to mining this fishycoin yet.
What kind of rewards are you seeing per 24 hours, with a few GPU's mining fish?
– on windows, do you have to have a powershell window open and running ironfish in order to mine to the wallet? (My install on the above stated windows VM keeps exiting and I have to restart powershell and fish. Why doesnt it install and run as a service, I wonder?)
The beta wallet is no longer available. I take it those of us that didn’t get one right away have to wait
Why do they make it so hard
Big boy !! Always an excellent class for us. A hug !
There is no exchange now to sell?
Hey my Windows node is up and running fine with a few windows miners mining to it just fine, but it blocks/bans the IP addresses that my hive miners have from mining to it every time I try? how do I fix this? and thanks in advance if you know what to do
wallet:send –memo sendmeallyourIRON 😂
Has anyone withdrawn some coins from that weird exchange??
You sell on kucoin ?
So how will know its sold
safetrade is not safe after trading your ironfish when to send your usdt to your wallet it stuck on sending pins you will never get the email that contain the pins so you have to finish your video until withdrawl the usdt or any other coin i have tested that on many accounts so i advise to wait for kucoin or gate.io to activate withdraw
