[Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] hey guys RPM here hope you're doing well having a really great day happy April 1st to all of you I am doing a video today on the 20 GPU mining rig my goal today is to build a second layer of the other gpus that I have here which they're all 50 hxs but before I do all that let me just start from the beginning because it's been about 7 months since I have done the 20 GPU mining rig since then a lot of you guys have been trolling me and asking me to get this rig up and running so for those that may have not seen the previous videos let me just explain what I have going on here for now all right so first I have this a h370 mining Master motherboard it has 20 USB ports on the motherboard they're not PCI but I guess they're essentially converted into a USB to X1 like pci1 adapted into the motherboard so here's the motherboard box just to show you guys here okay Asus mining h370 mining Master 20x GPU mining Hardware ready motherboard very similar to the mining expert motherboard you know from Asus some of you guys may know that motherboard I have built a lot of big like 19 GPU mining rigs before with those so this one here along with the motherboard I have it coupled with a I'm not quite sure what brand this mining frame is but it is a 19 GPU mining frame it's not specifically made for a 20 GPU but of course when I get to that part I will probably have to drill another hole at the top here to accommodate the 20th GPU if and only if it works in Windows all right so I know in the past all right for those that have followed my channel over the past couple years I have made plenty of big mining rigs on this Frame but the bottleneck that I had was you know around 15 or 16 gpus using hios but when it comes to Windows okay at which you guys can see I'm in device manager here I can see 750 hxs here all right in Windows all right I'm using Windows all right I had to brush up on my windows mining here over the past like half hour just to get this rig mining a lithium which I am mining a lithium right now using Regal Miner and they did release Just 4 days ago a new version uh which I obviously needed to download because 7 months ago I had a much older version so I have the new version of Regal Miner so I'm using it right now to mine a lithium just testing getting about 1.4 gigahash at about 115 watts per GPU roughly you guys can see the numbers here here is my batch file in case anyone wants to see it I could probably do better over clock numbers here but this is just what I have here for now if you guys have any numbers let me know down below all right but going along okay so I have seven mining right now and in that live stream about 7 months ago I installed the 50 hxs okay along with Splitters on each one these types of Splitters all right I've had no issues with them over the past 2 years as I've used these with other mining Rigs and then along with that I have the veteran Miner PCI E cables okay six pin to 8 Pin all right that it's going into a splitter into each of the 50 hxs so you can see it goes into a parallel minor zsx amp Edition breakout board okay into a HP server PSU I believe it's a 1,400 W server power supply all right it looks like quite a mess right now and of course I have the risers in these as well they're not GPU risers but they're ones I got from bees crypto Mining doca and I have like pretty funky LED colors going on on them and it looks beautiful I love it I love it so now okay as I'm recording this video I do have the parts that I need to keep continuing on to build this 20 GPU mining rig so the reason why the biggest reason well I would say secondary reason which the first reason I'll talk about in a second the second reason why I mainly didn't start continuing on building this rig was because I didn't have enough Splitters okay so I did split the Riser power as well okay you guys can see here risers have splitted uh the cable as well into a uh six pin to 8 Pin uh parallel minor power cables because the risers or the gpus themselves won't be pulling that much power on these Nvidia cards okay so that's why I did it like this I don't recommend anyone ever splitting Riser or even you know GPU power okay because I am mining a low power algorithm I am okay with doing that if I mine kapow on these 5H XS they could very well take over you know 160 180 Watts or something and I may not be comfortable with that so I'm probably not going to M any you know kapow or memory hard algorithm on these on this rig all right it's going to say something like core dependent like you know a lithium or some sort of pan hash or you know Carlson hash whatever anyway so I would say the first reason let me talk about that right now the first reason why over the past 7 months I never bothered to start continuing on building this rig was mainly because I have a problem right mentally for me I I'm not perfect I I'm kind of a perfectionist in a sense but in a way I am always going off and doing another project or doing something else that I enjoy or something comes up and I need to do that and you know this is happening that's happening and this 20gp rig just left out of the Wayside I I couldn't you know get to you know having having the mental capacity to building this rig all right and yes the PCI cables I forgot to mention these extra ones that I have here I took from other mining rigs my open air mining rigs my 360 TI rig and the Beautiful white 360 TI rig I took these Splitters off from these so this rig is powerless right now I hate that it's that's the case and also the 3070 rig I did take off on these as well uh these are not powered right now so I mean these are not on anyway I'm going to be putting that in server cases I I need to find a home for these open air rigs I I have six here okay and uh actually this 3x 3090 rig is going to be my proof of use for work rig so uh because these have the ribbon cables for the fall x16 PCI Lane so going to find a home for these rigs uh this 370 rig is going to go into a server case so maybe a good three rigs four rigs I need to find a home for these open air rigs that I have been sitting for a while and of course this rig has been sitting for a while so I have 20 yeah 20 of these 50 hxs that I would like to populate on this rig okay so I am ready now okay I'm ready I have the cables got all the pcie I have the second layer power supply okay I got the Dell 1400 wat PSU with just an X11 breakout board here okay so that is I'm ready to make the second row all right another seven I believe yeah SE uh let's just let's just count so one 2 3 4 5 6 oh six wait 1 2 3 4 5 6 okay so six is the next row and then the top row here is 1 2 3 4 5 six oh okay so another wait what's going on here another 12 yeah oh sorry yeah this is a 19 GPU frame so 12 + 7 is 19 all right that makes sense cuz Seven's at the bottom six and six okay so in theory I need to do another six on the second okay good thank God oh that just that kind of help me a little bit I'm I'm relieved I'm relieved all right so another thing I want to explain is I really don't think we can get 20 50 hxs to work in Windows I'm going to say the bottleneck is going to be Max about 15 maybe 16 in Windows and then I am going to need need a different set of mining cards like the uh I would say the P 106s or something or p14s that I can put on the top row because I yeah there's going to be a limitation here cuz I don't know how many PC Lanes these 50 hxs are going to put forth for the uh the USB here all right so that's one thing there's something due to micro code or I don't know the bios of like the CMP cards that were meant for the Asus mining Master motherboards so p14s P 106s mining specific cards but actually another thing I just thought of these are CMP like crypto mining specific cards but I don't know if I would need uh if it's going to be you know 15 or 14 or 16 50 hxs and then I need another six or eight of the AMD cards maybe I need eight AMD cards and not eight P 106s so that's something that I am already I I've had this issue before because I've built 19 GPU mining rigs before and we've gone through all that issue before so but the biggest thing I've never experienced yet is this mining motherboard with the 20 uh USB ports okay so yeah I just wanted to explain all that guys and uh April fools I totally pranked all you guys I'm not building more six gpus on the second row today in this video no no this is all you guys are going to get all right I have slaved away over the past couple hours here getting this rig you know going to Regal minor.com downloading the latest version getting the batch file manually up and running here which which took me a bit cuz you know we're mining in Windows and I'm not used to it and such so this is yeah all right this is all you guys get but but but if you guys watch till the end of the video I'm going to give away something I got a lovely RX 5700 if you watched all the away till the end of this video on April 1st for the next 24 hours you guys just have to get your comments in down below what you guys think of today's video positive or negative comments whatever anything regarding this video what I did to you guys here I totally pranked you guys I didn't build it today but I will build it maybe in another I don't know 7 months maybe a year I'll come back to this and comment down below if you're in USA and Canada I only ship this in North America so get your comments in thank you you guys for watching I appreciate all of you thank you for sticking with me regarding the 20 GPU mining rig hopefully that was uh you know insightful and fun to look at this rig once again this rig is just a pain in my a but now that I have it up and running here I should be able to start making the rig and getting all the parts uh together all right let me know what you guys think comment down below anything regarding this video positive negative and USA or Canada have a great one my friends happy April fools I'll see you guys in the next video have a good one peace out
