[Music] hey guys arpm here hope you're doing well having a really great day this we video I wanted to just make a dedicated video about new power cables that I got in because I'm sick of this okay I got some C13 to c14 power cables here that are just they're too long and I hate that they're just you know I'm not able to make it look nice because the cables are just simply way too long going into the octom miner x12s okay these PC SP octom Miner s 12 I know a lot of you guys have been buying these recently stacking them and I have about another eight more to set up that's going to be for another video but this is just a video where I ordered from infinit cables.com okay I ordered a few power cables and also uh ethernet cables and to the size that I want so that I can make it look nice shorter cables Cable Management all that kind of stuff and just to Showcase to you guys which cables I got okay so let's do a unboxing here and I'm going to replace the cables that I got currently before I set up all the octom miners that I have here that are ready to go I just wanted to do this video because I had a lot of people ask me red Pand where do you buy your power cables and so infinite cables.com is the website I'm not sponsored by them in this video I paid my own money for the stack of ethernet cables and the power cables that I need need to power the OCTA miners okay so let me just uh let me take one out here just to show you guys this is what I was waiting for okay so this is a c14 to 3x C13 okay this this is going to go into the back of the octom miner cuz there's three hot swappable power supplies just to show you guys there okay I do have one octo Miner here that had a dead power supply so I'm going to replace uh that 750 wat so the whole reason why I bought these cables is because I have these new nerd gears pdus okay 240 volt 30 amp pdus which link down below if you guys are interested they have the drock meter uh inside okay look at that on the pdu itself it's got surge protection as well the 30 amp breaker here and then also the dck meter to show the amps wattage voltage all that stuff here for those that didn't watch the previous videos yeah I came to the conclusion I didn't have enough C13 plugs here okay there's only six of them on these pdus and uh two c19 C20 plugs but the octom miners right that I have each of them have three power supplies so I can't individually run okay which hence the issue here that you guys see I have individual C13 to c14 power cables that I don't have enough outlets on the pdus for eventually my 10 octom Miner so that is why I ordered I think 10 yeah I ordered 10 of these uh power cables from infinite cables so I spent about a couple hundred bucks Canadian and I did get a few extra longer ones I did I did get a bunch of three-footer ones six-footer ones four of them and also ethernet cables okay ethernet I of course want to have uniform I do have a network switch like this okay so I'm going to get rid of these and then uh this one goes to my ubiquity Bridge and yeah that's how I'm getting internet here so they're all going to be uniform the same cabling and they should be hopefully long enough to go into each of the octom miners 10 octom miners across all right so you guys know why I got those now what I'm going to do I'm going to just I'm going to turn off my octom miners here and I'm going to replace the power cables and uh see how they look okay also the ethernet as well be right back okay hey got the rigs Mining and at the same time Bitcoin is pumping as of recording 75,7 76 heck yeah all right so I wanted to show you guys how I have it power cabled here very simple very easy look how much shorter the cables are now going into the 240 volt 30m pdu that you guys can see right there okay nice and short less cabling now I don't have that massive stack of cable here anymore so much better here's the aftermath of those cables now I wanted to go through one thing okay some people may question red panda are these cables even rated to handle you know a certain amount of wattage so yeah they are able to handle a certain amount of power capacity okay so this c14 to 3x C13 power splitter cable that I'm using here is at 16 gauge wiring okay and so they have have mentioned here that the uh power rating there is 13 amps at 250 volt so if I go 13 * uh 250 okay that would give us 3,250 Watts so that's how much power that could go through one of these types of cables okay going from the pdu then plugged into the octom miner okay now am I going to be using that much power per cable definitely not if I were to add up three of those 750 W power supplies that would be about I think 22 to 23 100 Watts Max and that's if I ran these at Max uh power consumption which I'm obviously not going to do that but in any case if the overclocks decide to you know go off or anything then I'll still be within the power capacity range of these power cables so infinite cables uh they have the UL uh approval on all of these ISO as well and I've been using infinite cables uh power cables for the past like 5 years okay I have like their uh C13 to c14 14 gauge wires here and I've had no issues with them at all amazing cables they're just a bit too long but at least I can use these for something else okay guys that's all I want to do in this video just a simple cable video what cables I'm using oh yeah my network cables are all good now I'm using SF Footers that are going into the uh Network here and I have another space here for another uh eight of the OCTA miners I'm going to remove this blue one then yeah and it's going to be nice in uniform and ah it's going to be so clean all right stay tuned for next video I'm going to get the octom miners up here and running and we're going to run like 120 uh RX 478 GB cards on this shelf hopefully I'll have uh enough power something tells me I might not but we shall see on the nerd gears pdu all right I'll see you all in the next video have a good one and peace out peace out
