all right ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the Brandon coin YouTube channel I figured I'd uh give everybody an update because uh this might be affecting other people especially if you've bought cheaper Ram so I had a couple of my systems that have been acting wonky finicky um having issues and they all come back to this Ram right here so this is the T force uh specifically the T create Ram so I have two 32 gig dims in here anyway this computer was acting a little weird it would randomly cut off some kind of thing you know at random times I figured you know what maybe it has something to do with like Windows update something like that um and then all of a sudden it went down the other day and then I go and cut it back on and it would not come back on it would just power up and then boot loop and boot loop and boot loop and I'm like what the heck is going on so I pulled it over here set it on the test bench because I'm like I have no idea what's going on um and I remember talking to Aragorn Strider over in the Discord and he's like man um I've had a lot of issues with reting ram lately so the first thing I did is I pulled those sticks out just gave them a quick little dusting slapped them back in there they weren't Dusty by any means don't don't think it is this system I haven't even cleaned it yet there's a little little spider web right there but it's not even that dirty not for it running in a garage for the last couple months straight um I Reed it and then it boots up completely fine now my systems that I'm running my Samsung Ram in have not had this issue but I have two other systems with the the cheap or I say it's cheap but um it's still expensive to buy this Ram um I'll go show you those here in a second and they had the same issue but I didn't uh rece the RAM on those I just pulled the ram out and I swapped it to uh some Samsung Ram well I'm low on Ram at the moment waiting for more to come in so I don't have enough Samsung Ram to go around so I am going to go back and put the tforce uh T create back in there and see if that fixes the issue um so we'll grab those here in a second but this system seems to be running fine I'll go ahead and set it up and get it ready on wireless wi-fi that way I can put it into the house and start you know creating a little bit of extra heat in the house um but yeah let me go grab my mouse and a keyboard and then we'll I'll show you guys how I set these up for for inside wintertime mode all right guys so I put little uh Wi-Fi dongle in for um Wi-Fi yeah obviously uh I I quit cheaping out on the Wi-Fi dongles the super cheap Wi-Fi dongles always have problems I suggest um some of the like uh at least ac600 uh TP Link um or the Asus or also make DEC decent ones um I have Wi-Fi 6 on my router so a Wi-Fi 6 enabled is even better um also got my little handy dandy keyboard right here people are asking about this on a previous video it's just um Works off of a dongle and it's got a little mouse pad right here see and uh it's got a keypad these are like 20 bucks they're super cheap they don't last a long time it is a rechargeable battery but um on average I have like probably four of these brand new in the box I get about a couple months out of them um and some people are like oh my God that's that's horrible but these things are invaluable when it comes to like moving around and diagnosing stuff so that's why I keep a few of them on Deck cuz I I love them um for like portable use um if anybody has a better option uh in that price range uh somebody did send me one that was like a $200 Mini keyboard and at that point it just doesn't make sense regardless though so this system is on Wi-Fi now it's got a 12 core xon in it 12 cores 24 threads uh 64 gigs of RAM which I'm actually thinking about it has those two 32 gig sticks I'm thinking about add add an 8 gig dim with those uh two 32 gig sticks because I have heard that there are some workloads that require or 60 GB of of RAM and just running Windows it's running 4.6 so there's not 60 GB available if I threw another 8 gig stick in there on top of it there would be 60 gigs available and maybe that would enable me to grab some of those additional workloads that people that are only running 64 gigs are not able to grab so I am going to power the system down we'll throw that Ram in there um then I'll get it turned all back on fully updated make sure we're good on that end make sure remote desktop is working and then we'll go move it inside all right guys so what's the chances my wife won't notice I slid this couch off the wall a little bit or a lot of bit there's a bunch of toys back there um so airflow wise this will be fine cuz I have the top exhausting and the front is intaking so intake air and then exhaust it up which actually will just push heat up into my living room and so I could put one unit right here and put another one over there I got um a plug over there as well uh I don't think I'll slide that in Off the Wall I'll keep that end up against the wall but um yeah yeah what's the chances hold on let me look back if you step back is it even noticeable we'll see I'll report back in the future but let's go ahead and get this this bad boy powered up this is where the dog sleeps too so that that'll be just great sucking in and all that uh that nonsense let's see here boom I need a HDMI dummy plug now let's turn the lights off give me the best chance for it going incognito all right so um I'm remoted in now I'm back in my office but this this system looks like it's downloading a container as you can see uh she's downloading 100 megabits a second and we have uh VM MIM open so uh it has not loaded into RAM yet um yeah we're at 13.2 looks like it's it's loading in the ram but yeah there's still the glitch where you can't see estimated earnings per rig you can only see the last 24 hours for your ire farm so that is unfortunate as of right now but um yeah I'll let this bad boy do its thing for a little while and we'll uh see you on the next one thanks for coming out adios bye
